I wanted to give this place a good review, but alas. Sharee was our bartender (and bar manager), she’s GREAT). Come here for the cocktails and the cool vibe and beautiful decor, probably the swankiest place in Martinsville. Her cocktails are beautiful and tasty and she makes them quickly and with flair. I can’t say enough bad things about the food. How long it took (they didn’t even get our wings out to us while we waited for 45 minutes for our overcooked food), they were out of rolls for a cheeseburger (Which they told us 1/2 hour after we ordered and just how the rest of the joint operated. If they get a cook and a manager they could be what we hoped for…

Very pleasant, bartender/server was fabulous! I got the salmon and it was excellent. Sides were just ok, both potatoes and mac’n’cheese were a little dry. Hubs got chicken and it was just fair. The vibe is low-key but date night, very nice.

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN TOWN! I have found my new favorite restaurant! I had the Mahi Dolphin and I can’t stop thinking about the flavors and presentation of this dish, it was more than amazing and we had the chance to meet/get to know the wonderful Chef Gustavo. We had multiple signature cocktails on the menu, and an espresso martini which isn’t on the menu but definitely should be, the bartenders put in great work! What an amazing experience! The service, food and atmosphere were perfect! The mussels and the roasted beet appetizers were so delicious. The lamb chops were perfection. The bison steak was absolutely delicious! Don’t miss out on the tiramisu, it was amazing. We can’t wait for our next visit! Such a great addition for our community, as this is the type of experience for which one would normally have to leave town. Personally, I appreciate that we can save a couple hours on the road and have this experience right here at home.

It’s giving swanky, upscale, and super chic…from the service to the delicious and daring menu, everything was a 10/10. My husband and I went to Tad Tavern today for brunch with friends for the first time, and it was awesome! The food and service were amazing. Our server was super attentive, always checking on us and keeping our drinks full. I got the grilled chicken omelet with a Martinsville Mimosa, and he had the chef’s special with a mimosa. Did not know this place existed until this past week. I’ve been missing out! The service and food is top notch (especially for Martinsville). There was live music (Friday night) which provided some great atmosphere. We had the salmon dish and churrasco steak which was phenomenal! The cocktails were perfect as well. Chef Gustavo even came out to introduce himself and check on how we were enjoying the food.
It’s definitely a more upscale place for this town. If you’re looking for a great place to take a date, or just relax with some great food and cocktails, this is your spot!

Today we here at Bisbee Honda had the pleasure of having tad tavern cater our Saturday lunch, and let me just say they didn’t let us down. We had grilled chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes and it was amazing and also a light good meal for us while working. We dealt with Scherria with booking everything and she was wonderful and such a great person to deal with. Highly recommend them for anything

Great experience! The food was delicious! Very delightful. The atmosphere was outstanding. The decoration was gorgeous. I recommend the coconut mojito. And the seafood paella. They’re great combination. Also, the charcuterie, churrazco, sweet plantains with potato’s. Highly recommended! It’s definitely a place to visit again!
