I love South Indian so happy to see a food cart offering some of the same dishes. Delicious Idli and Sambar although wished there were more solid vegetables in my sambar but the taste was really good. Had a Masala Dosa which tasted great and love the coconut chutney. Will come back!

Maybe my expectations were high but this was nothing like any butter chicken I’ve ever had, I’m used to some spice, some kick & this was just cream, it was very bland. I can make butter chicken at home for less than the cost of here. I don’t recommend and won’t be eating here again. Nice atmosphere though for kids to run and play though so that is a plus but with other food carts around I’ll go to another cart.

Wow. I was really excited to try a new Indian place in the area. Unfortunately, this was some of the most bland Indian food I’ve ever had. I saw that someone else had a similar experience and the response from the owner was that they don’t make anything spicy by default. Spiciness isn’t the problem here. “Spices” is. I didn’t know you could make Indian food so flavorless. I hope they adjust their recipes a bit to add some flavor. I really hate writing bad reviews. I was rooting for this place, but I will not be coming back.

I ordered the masala dosa and it was OUTSTANDING. Crispy, soft, airy, had that sourdough-kind of tang from delicious homemade fermented dosa dough. Everything about this place is made with love and tastes like heaven. The chutneys the masala dosa came with were full of bright vibrant flavors. There was some heat to the dosa and chutneys, but it was the perfect amount in my opinion and only further enhanced the marriage of all of the delicious flavors. I cannot wait to come back and try their pani puri and more dosas.

I am not one to leave bad reviews but for those who are interested in good Indian food focus your efforts elsewhere. The butter chicken was far more like a Mexican mole sauce than butter chicken and after a few bites I had to throw it away.

Maybe my experience was not standard for this cart but for $20 I was hoping for something similar to butter chicken… this was definitely not that.

Three different items.one good, one decent, one pass.
First – hard pass on the Idli. They shouldn’t even have it on the menu. Square, flat and rubbery. Total waste.

Butter Paneer: Very good.

Chicken Keema Dosa: this IMO is a home run. I’ll try it again as this was my first time here, but if it holds, it’ll be my go-to.

A couple of questions for the owners:

1. What is the Advantage Program surcharge when you make purchases at the physical location? It’s a couple of bucks, but still…

2. Why are some items more expensive on your curry-o-city app than at the cart? One would think you’d want to incentivize app orders over people standing in line.

Delicious and authentic! How nice to have great Indian food in the area.
Updating my review. Second time here their system overcharged me and I had to pay cash to get the right price.
