Stopped by The Varsity in Bethlehem on Monday and it did not disappoint. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything tasted just like it should. The chili dogs were loaded with flavor, the fries were crispy, and the Frosted Orange was perfect. The staff was friendly and moved fast, even during a busy time. The place was clean and had that classic Varsity feel. It’s a great spot to grab a quick bite and enjoy some real comfort food. I’ll definitely be back.

This was quite a surprise to find a Varsity out a bit from Atlanta proper. Just had to stop to pick up a classic naked dog and onion rings. As usual, the dogs were good and the onion rings were crispy, well cooked and abundant.

Love this place! The food is always hot and delicious! Can’t go wrong with a chili dog, onion rings, and a frosted orange! The staff is super friendly and fast, and the whole place has that fun, classic Varsity vibe. It’s always clean and a great spot to grab a quick bite with family or friends. Definitely one of my favorite stops in Winder!

I have been to this location several times & the food and service has been good. But today I arrived at 11:10, I thought the restaurant was closed. No one in sight and I started to leave when I saw a lady @ the drive thru register just standing there. Tapped on the window & she had to go get someone else. Finally 6 or 7 people came out of the back. They were slow and the attitude was horrible, like I interrupted them. After 10 to 15 minutes I finally got my order. Onion rings almost burnt & hot dog was soggy from sitting under a heat lamp. Varsity, I love you guys but you gotta do better.

Super disappointed! Does not live up to The Varsity standards. Orange frosty was only filled 3/4 of the way full. There were no onions included on side with chili dogs (that’s a must have). Food wasn’t even hot or warm, just room temperature. Only reason I was gracious enough to give 2 stars is because my son’s plain bacon burger with no cheese was actually correct.

Food was fresh and hot. It was cold and windy outside and the manager made sure we had the heaters on outside. Tables were clean and well stocked. If you’re craving chili dogs, visit this place.

12/27/25 Onion rings tasted burnt, the hot dogs tasted old like a old musty building smells. I don’t know what they have changed, but it was just nasty. Dog poop would have been better I believe.

Make sure you check your food since they’re obviously incapable if doing so. Just got home from picking up a combo and two extra hot dogs for my wife and myself, and they completely failed to include any of the food from the combo. Guess that’s one way to make a profit.

Outdoor patio is an awesome concept. Heaters in the winter definitely help. The food is decent for Varsity food iykyk. My only complaint would be the patio area gets pretty gross from customers dropping food and the staff dosen’t really stay on top of keeping it clean. I’ve been 4 times and 3 out of the 4 the patio floor was pretty nasty. Other than that the place is good. Staff are nice and food tastes like Varsity food.

This location is consistently terrible. I keep hoping they get better. They have poor service & they are incredibly slow. They mess up your order too ofcourse. You can use drive-through & they tell you to park & wait way too long for burgers & hotdogs.
