I wasn’t really impressed. Their food menu it’s medíocre at best, taking into consideration that Moe’s, in my opinion, is more of a pricey sports bar.
The atmosphere was nice, very clean place, music playing, sports playing on big screen tv’s. We went in late afternoon around 4pm and it was really empty, there were two tables with 4 people each aside from us(we were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children) a there were 2 people sitting at the bar. which is located at the far end, again friendly bar staff and very clean.
You can order your food right away from the simple menu that it’s written on a chalkboard behind the cashier’s counter, or take a paper menu, look it over and then walk up-to the front, make your order, get a number, get your own drink, sit down, and wait for your food to be served.
We asked about their daily specials, but half of what its advertized online its nit always available, I guess it depends on the day or time of day.
Their grilled cheese from the kids’ menu was good. The dry rubbed chicken was good. The collard greens were good, as well as the hush puppies and fried catfish.
The sweet tea, BBQ sauce, mac & cheese, ribs, and cornbread were definitely nothing to write home about. AT ALL.
The staff is friendly and happy to assist you. This will not be a place I would go to unless it’s to watch a game and have drinks.
Our bill for 6 came out to be $160 and we gave a $20 tip

Excellent atmosphere, great for corporate or private events, private floor for parties! Pool tables, Games, Projector and sports with 360 viewing. The back patio is nice for sunny days and crawfish boils every other weekend through fall Traditional southern sides paired with excellent BBQ, the staff and presentation always on point!

Passing through and decided to pop in. Glad we did. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was very cool..bet it’s hopping when there’s a band on stage. Only reason for 4 stars on service was because I had to leave my seat to find a server to get me a to-go box for my leftovers. Servers were great otherwise.

One of our favorite places in Hartselle to go eat. I had to loaded potato, my daughter had ribs & my husband had pulled pork bbq sandwich. Everything was really good. I LOVE the atmosphere of this restaurant. They play their music but not too loud. We will definitely continue dining here. *that last pic is out back as you’re leaving.

It wasn’t too bad I had the rid in witch I like not to fond of the pulled pork the beans where good the Potato salad was ok I would of like to have more chunk not like a mashed but I will definitely go back and try something else

Moe’s BBQ in Hartselle is a solid addition to historic Main Street. I highly recommend the smoked wings. This is a great spot if you enjoy hanging out at a bar with decent food. The smoked wings meal in the picture cost me around $25 (which included a craft beer).

Mac n cheese was hard like yesterday’s mac and cheese tossed in a cup and microwaved… fried okra was great!
Lol???!!??What’s up with the weak Texas Pete knockoff hot sauce you guys are posing as barbecue? But all in all the ribs were fall off the bone as they should be they kind of looked boiled but I could tell they weren’t. Coleslaw is killer but what’s up with the green peppers we’re not in Texas? If everything was at seasoned with cayenne pepper it would have been great

3.5 stars. Sides are not that great. Bbq isnt bad just not worth the extra money they charge here compared to the 4 other bbq joints around here. Id imagine people mostly come here for the bar and atmosphere but if your just trying to feed a family with decent prices, id go to one of the joints. Also prices have changed from whats found on here… And be prepared to wait a min when ordering

I’ve attached a picture of what $10 gets you at this place. For starters, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and they didn’t even serve it on a bun so I assume they got my order wrong. Secondly, the two sides that you get with the meal are a joke. You’d get a larger portion from the people handing out samples at Costco. Overall, I don’t recommend coming here unless you want to go home hungry.
