This is by far the best dairy restaurant I have ever experienced. The food is a true explosion of flavors, leaving a lasting impression with every bite. Each dish is presented with incredible attention to detail, making the dining experience as visually pleasing as it is delicious. The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. On top of that, the service goes above and beyond—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I am extremely impressed and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking exceptional food and hospitality.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Fiamma. The service was excellent, the room was nicely decorated and the food was served promptly, and well prepared. The onion-mushroom soup was tasty as was the salmon. Portions were reasonable. The Cleveland community was ready for a kosher fine dining restaurant. Hope it’s here for a long time.

We were seated for a while but no one took our order. Then the soup was served without a spoon. When we asked for one after a while as the soup is getting cold, they wiped a not-properly-cleaned spoon at the bar (I could see what they are doing from my table). It’s not a soup spoon and they said they don’t have other spoon at the moment.

10/10 would recommend to friends and family of course! Atmosphere was amazing and friendly. Such good vibes, amazing music and lots of space. The staff was so helpful and accommodating and even with different dietary restrictions, sensitivities, and allergies. The bartenders were so accommodating as well and had a delicious array of alcoholic drinks on the menu and off. lastly, The food was out of this world- would definitely come again!

Very nice, kosher dairy restaurant. Came here on a whim as we were shopping nearby so we did just a small tasting if thing: Butternut Squash soup (little too sweet for my wife, I liked it), Beet salad (very good and fresh) and piached pear dessert (I prefer my warm, my wife prefers them cold, so this was more up her alley). Very attentive service, the owner himself (Mandel) stopped by. Will definitely come back to try a full meal. The pizza oven looks awesome so I am guessing pizzas are too!

We had out of town family in for the weekend who needed vegetarian and Kosher food requirements. My son-in-law enjoys trying the various area restaurants when they visit, so this was his pick.
I don’t think reservations are required, but we had a party of 8, so we made one just in case.
While we were there, a band was either playing in the restaurant or in the mall area right beside it, and honestly it was a little loud for us to have conversations. When it stopped, it was reasonable to hear one another.
My son-in-law ordered various appetizers, the “small plates” as they are called, for us to all share and try. (He kinda overdid it but everyone enjoyed them.) Fiamma Balls, Truffle Fries, Ricotta Gnocchi Verde, and Brocolini for our gluten free person.
I especially enjoyed the Truffle Fries.
For dinner, our vegetarian person had the Panzanella Salad. Our gluten free person had the Spaghetti Squash. The rest of us split some Margherita and Quatro Formaggio pizzas with our last person having the Campenelle ala Vodka pasta dish.
Everyone enjoyed their food.
I’m a very simple and plain eater, so for me, this is not a place I’ll return to unless with my daughter and son-in-law when they visit. He was very pleased and glad he picked it. It is great to know we have a place to take them out to dinner that they’ll enjoy.

What a find this place is. The homemade pastas with unique sauces are a treat. There were three of us and all of us raved about our dishes. Our server Randy, was very friendly and so knowledgeable about the menu. All her recommendations were exceptional. Also the atmosphere was so refreshing. It wasn’t noisy but very pleasant. So many places today are so loud and everything is rushed. What more can you ask from a night out? Great food, exceptional service and quiet atmosphere. Try it, you’ll like it!

We arrived early to our reservation thinking we would sit at the bar and order drinks. The woman working behind the bar was cold and responded “I don’t work her” when we asked about several drinks at the bar. We opted for wines which were fine but the bartender was so ill prepared. We then sat and had dinner. Meals themselves were fine but nothing to write home about. Gnoochi Gratin had hair in the meal which turned off our party. We ordered two starters and pizzas and the best part of the meal was the fries we ordered. Prices are a little steep for the fries to be the best part of a meal. Much better places in Cleveland to enjoy Italian/Pizza. The intention of this place is great but they have a lot of work to do in terms of food and customer service.

I recently visited Fiamma by Mendel, and my overall experience was enjoyable for a first visit. The service stood out as a highlight, with our waitress being very friendly and attentive, checking in often to make sure we were comfortable. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time—about 12-15 minutes for the pizza and 15-20 minutes for the salmon—which kept the meal pacing just right.
The Truffle Pizza was absolutely fantastic. The wood-fired crust had the perfect texture, and the flavors were well-balanced, though the sweetness of the onions was slightly overpowering. I like my pizza more savory than sweet!
Still, it’s easy to say this is the best pizza in town. That big oven truly makes all the difference.
The Sweet Corn Risotto was another standout—creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned, it was an absolute delight.
The Salmon, however, was underwhelming. It was on the dry side, lacked seasoning, and the bed of potatoes it was served on was overly oily. For the price, I had expected much more refinement.
On the other hand, the Sea Bass was a much better seafood option. It was cooked well, had a good balance of flavors, and was one of the highlights of the meal. However, it is one of the pricier dishes.
The atmosphere at Fiamma is unique and feels completely transformed from the space it once was. However, I can imagine that on busy nights, the table seating might feel a bit tight. Despite this, the ambiance adds to the overall charm of the restaurant.
While there were some hits and misses with the food, the stellar service, unique atmosphere, and incredible pizza made for a lovely meal. I’m looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.
Update: Been back already to try more of the menu. Bread service was nice touch. Recipes must have changed a bit. My initial review stands.

Fiamma by Mendel is truly a gem in Beachwood. We had an event for my family there, and I was blown away. The food is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.
The ambiance is equally impressive: elegant, warm, and inviting, making it perfect for both special occasions and a relaxed night out. It strikes that rare balance of feeling upscale while still being comfortable and welcoming.
What really sets Fiamma apart, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, making you feel valued and taken care of without ever feeling rushed. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. We really enjoyed ourselves.
