Traviesushi is a family-owned business with over 20 years in the area, bringing unique, freshly crafted dishes to Los Angeles. Originating from San Jose, CA, we’ve spent over 10 years perfecting our Japanese-style sushi with a Latin American twist, thanks to our Mexican-born head chef. Our menu includes savory appetizers, sushi rolls, noodles, specialty rolls, and Ribeye Beef plates. We aim to unite communities and cultures by offering a dining experience that appeals to every family.

AMAZING! The 5 star reviews do not lie. Cozy, family restaurant serving fresh and delicious sushi and other Asian dishes. I did not manage to make photos of full dishes as I was too hungry and only later made the photos it was nicely served also ( look at pictures of others reviewers). We were just passing by so sadly we will cannot come again but everyone else – you got to try it !

Although raining we felt like eating sushi! I’ve seen this place on tik tok and said I would visit. They have a home made spicy mayo sauce and that thing is a creeper! I recommend!!they have different types of sushi, so if your not a fan of raw fish they have baked sushi too and teriyaki chicken which is also flavorful. All this was 75.57

Food is GREAT! Presentation and taste is so good, timing is Fast! Quick make, came for a nice lunch pricing is reasonable, a lot of choices on menu to choose from! Definitely recommend for great sushi!

First time trying this spot. A friend of mine found it and we decided to come check it out. It’s a small hidden place on central between 87th and 89th. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Everyone who checked in on us was so friendly and attentive. They have a nice little but spacious sitting area. The spicy tuna fried roll was my favorite. Second favorite had to be the lion king roll. Looking forward to coming back and trying other rolls.

This place is my go to if I’m wanting sushi. The rolls here are so good. The 2023 specialty roll is life changing. The bento box is delicious.

This Mexican sushi spot is a whole experience not just a meal. The flavors are bold, creative, and so fresh you can taste the love in every roll. I wasn’t expecting sushi and Mexican flair to work this well, but they nailed it. Every bite had the perfect mix of crunch, spice, and that melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
The service? Amazing. Friendly, fast, and they make you feel like family. The presentation was gorgeous, the vibe was fun, and I already know I’m coming back.
If you’re craving something different that still hits every single time this is it. 10/10, highly recommend! ️

Family restaurant. Small, cozy, cute. Everybody there was very welcoming. The babies of the family are all adorable. Jaileen was our hostess, waitress, EVERYTHING!. Her personality is Popping! Her beautiful mom came out and served us a little dish on the house while our food was being prepared. Everything was great. We enjoyed them.
