I appreciate the local meat and having a butcher selection of meat in our area but I have mixed feelings about my most recent purchase. I went in for beef shanks and soup bones, I also purchased two packs of chicken and 1 package of smoked salmon total was around $70. Even the employee recounted my items bc she thought the price was high for what I had on the counter. I also felt that way. I pulled my shanks today which cost 50% more then when I purchase beef shanks at economart in spooner, which also has a butcher in house. I paid $21 for two, compared to the typical $5 per shank thats 85-95% meat. I pulled the shanks out of the package today and the cut is 85-95% bone. Im not even sure what I purchased qualifies as beef shank, it’s all shank and no beef. I bought soup bones for bones, shank for soft stew meat but there is hardly any meat. So I just paid $21 for basically two bones. The cut doesnt even resemble a typical beef shank. Pretty disappointed in the quality coming from a meat store that specializes in meat cuts. Im sure my broth will taste great but I will likely be drinking my meal today instead of eating it. Weird.

I have shopped there many times there meats are always good and they have a good selections . But on my recent visit I purchased a 16 ounce fillet at 46 bucks a pound. Way over priced. Went to my usual butcher and paid 17.00 per pound and the steak did not taste like it was pre tenderized.! Not happy.

Lynn’s is incredible! We had our wedding catered by Lynn and it was above and beyond our expectations. It was so delicious and guests are still talking about it. We also had a last minute request to bring out lunch meat for the following day which Lynn did easily! It was better than any lunchmeat we could get in the grocery store.
When we stopped in to try some options we also got sausages, bratwurst and bacon. Everything was so unique and flavorful!
We will be making a special trip to stock up in the future!

Lynn catered our outdoor wedding celebration of around 200 people last year, and we couldn’t have been more grateful that we decided to go with her. She was extremely easy to work with through the planning process, and as a day-of vendor, they couldn’t have been better. Our wedding coordinator had nothing but good things to say.
The food was absolutely delicious as well. We had friends in attendance who work in the upscale restaurant scene in Chicago, and they were all raving about how good the food was.
