It was awful. I’ve NEVER experienced a level of service SO BAD that it took over 1 hours to get a drink replenishment from a bartender that, NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE…BUT 3X was acknowledged that a refill was needed but was openly ignored so the bartender could have a private conversation…like it was her personal.living room. With a capacity of less than 30 persons…I watched this bartender push off 7 of 3 guests, INCLUDING HER OWN CO-WORKER and her husband for lacking the capacity to serve and talk at the same time. I waited..OVER AN HOUR for Nanette to serve me my 2nd drink..and only after HER OWN FRIEND called her over. Horrible.. n I could go on…but I wont. Worst service I have EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!!!! She ignored half of the 13 persons on her bar to have a private conversation without being able to serve and talk at the same time. She left 7 patrons of 13…two of which were her co-worker and her husband ignored .. Her own co-worker and husband who waited 45+ minutes to not get serviced…until they stormed out and texted their other co-worker about the NEXT LEVEL Horrible experience.There is no service job, EASIER, than a neighborhood bar, bartender. This is definetly a friends only bar, I’m skeptical about the positive reviews it has received, as my experience was far from positive. While the prices for drinks are reasonable, the overall atmosphere of the bar is unappealing and dirty.

Later, we saw the bartender and another staff member discussing and pointing at us, which escalated to them approaching our group and throwing a table. I would caution others to consider this before choosing this bar to go to.

A nice little place near the main street in South Milwaukee it has the usual bar games and pull tabs and a flat screen mounted every couple of feet around the wall in the main bar area .
I happened to be going past and saw they were open so I decided to check it out , the bartender and
customer’s we’re all very friendly and I will try to stop again during the day if they’re open. There was plenty of street parking available so that’s a plus and I didn’t get a chance to try the food selection

I recently visited Powers on 10th during the playoffs and was profoundly disappointed with my experience. The owner’s demeanor was unexpectedly belligerent, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere for us as patrons. Additionally, our experience with the drinks was deeply concerning. We ordered a Spotted Cow beer, only to find it contaminated with bugs. Expecting this to be a one-off issue, we requested a different beer, but were dismayed to find the same problem again. This level of hygiene is unacceptable and quite frankly, disgusting. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Powers on 10th. It’s disheartening to write such a review, but I hope it serves as a wake-up call for necessary improvements.

Stopped in for a Mitch’s Brew night. Great corner bar! Everything I remembered South Milwaukee was back in the 70’s and 80’s! Beer was cold, bartenders were on it… patrons were friendly. Well worth the trip!

Went at down time on a Friday night with my 21yr old son to shoot darts. Had a good time. Pretty bartender but dam I hate rap crap on the juke. What can you do. The kid loved the tunes so that’s all that matters then. $2 tall boys also. Sweeet. Jeff

Was there 6-6-2020. Bartender couldn’t remember 4 drinks. It was mid afternoon. Maybe 10 people at the bar. Looked to be regulars, and she looked to be drunk or on some other drug?? Other than that, decent shot and beer bar.

Great place for all of your corner bar must haves. Cold beer, stiff cocktails , ice cold ice, dice, cleavage (bartenders, and patrons), winners, losers, chain smokers, and boosers. just a great great atmosphere all around.
