YES This food is incredible! Wow. I got the vegan platter which was curried veggies and rice with plantains and at first I was unsure because of the price ($20), but after eating it I would spend it again because it’s that good. Everything was SO flavorful and went so well together. I’m still thinking about those plantains…And I don’t know what was going on in the rice because it looked regular but it was so not regular Thank you for such amazing food and friendly service!
(Side note: this is a carry-out only joint.)

I hate where it is located, but this place is delicious. The jerk chicken with BBQ sauce is my favorite. The rice is delicious. The ribs were on point. The service is excellent. Loved it!!!. If you try it at the State Fair, you must come to the restaurant. I have to come back and try other stuff.

The first time i went there (a few months ago), i dined in on a weekday. The food (oxtails), service and atmosphere were 5 stars. The 2nd order (a few days ago) was delivered. It was a Saturday. The food (oxtails, cabbage, plantains) was dry and not so fresh and delicious as first time. Plantain were fresh and delicious though. Oxtails and cabbage dry and disappointing… maybe a few days old and passing the old food off on delivery orders ???

It’s hard to find quality Caribbean food in MN. This place warmed my heart and the food made me miss my mama’s cooking. Oxtail was juicy with plenty of collagen. I received roughly 4-5 large pieces of stewed oxtail along with red beans and rice and plantain all for around $25! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This place deserves all the love.

I was very excited going here because of reviews I seen on the food; specifically the oxtail. However I’m sad to say I wasted my money, the rice and peas were really good and the cabbage was standard. However my oxtails were tough and pretty much inedible I’m disappointed and out of $27.

The flavors are there..

But the stew I received more potatoes than chicken. The jerk chicken was ok… the pic makes the chicken look big but the chicken are small.. The cabbage was all right… The price is pretty steep for the size…(medium) Compared to other places at the price range $26 (lunch hours) . I travel a lot and got a chance to try this place for the first time.

It was about six months ago when I made an order on the GoodToGo app and I have been meaning to write this review ever since! I just wanted to let the staff know how much they made my night. They were kind and generous and the food was delicious! And the peach cobbler…There isn’t enough good things to say about it. Lovely place.

Workers are very nice, the space is clean. Good vibe overall

Oxtail Stew: taste 10/10, portion 5/10. If there was more meat it would be worth the money but despite the amazing taste I hesitate to order it again. If you don’t care about a small portion and spending a little extra, I recommend it.

Jerk rib: taste 9/10 the meat is very tender and delicious, wish there was a little more bbq sauce on the meat. Recommend ordering extra BBQ sauce for the meat. Portion 10/10. Highly recommend, will order again.

Collard greens: 10/10, may be salty to some but I like it. Will order again.

Plantains: 10/10 delicious and great portion, will order again.

Rice&beans: 10/10 good portion, well seasoned, will order again.

Mac&Cheese: 10/10, will order again!

Beef Patty: 10/10, hits the spot. Just eat it fresh right after you order it, or it will get dry. Will order again.

Amazing place hidden on a corner lot.

The food was delicious. The Jamaican Patty (hot beef) is highly recommended, as is the Jerk Chicken and stew.

Make sure to ask for Hot Pepper sauce, as their other sauces (while good and flavorful) lack a kick.

Great staff, food, and service.

The people here were great! I just think the amount of food you get is not worth the price there’s slices of pie small slices that are $6 and we also purchased a oxtail plate with barely any oxtails and majority rice and peas which we didn’t like to much of honestly didn’t taste seasoned at all coming from a down south Louisiana Chef we created soul food and it wasn’t that! Coming up north it’s been a real task to get some decent soul food I’m not gone knock that other food may be great I haven’t tried anything else from there and probably won’t we paid $40 a plate to barely have any food or it to barely be seasoned like I said good place but prices should be adjusted because your not getting that much food for that
