I had the Tikki Masala Curry that stated choice of protein and served with rice. I asked the waitress what my protein choices were and she had to ask someone. At the top of the menu it states you had a choice of one side and I chose a salad. The waitress came back and said my meal was served with rice, did I still want the salad and I said yes. Well, I got charged an extra $4.00 for a salad that consisted of lettuce, two paper thin slices of tomato and what looked like a cup of shredded cheese….could barely find the lettuce!! The Tikki Masala was ok. Also ordered a Bloody Mary, which was good but did not come with any type of garnish as most places do. We went with another couple and any questions we asked of the waitress, she had to go and ask someone. She should know the menu and be able to field these questions! Also the waitress was wearing a t-shirt that you buy in a souvenir shop and what looked like lounge/athletic pants. Not much of a first impression and very unprofessional. We had high hopes upon other reviews, but sadly that was not the case. We will not rerun.

We went 4-11-2023 5:00 pm ask to eat outside. They had 4 customers inside we sat outside 30 minutes No menu No drinks No waitress I went in to get menus & drinks stood at the bar 10 or more minutes.with no acknowledgment from waitress I went back out to patio 10 or more minutes & we left . Last summer we went several times with lots of people . They had a very Nice waitress I hope she still works there because the one they had yesterday will lose them business !!!!!!!

The food and service may be the best in Shelbyville. Try the lamb chops or garlic naan. I haven’t had bad food there after 4 visits. Cocktails/drinks are generous. Ask to sit by the window for a dose of sunshine at lunch. Very impressed. We will certainly be back.
