5 stars! I’m no Dave Portnoy, but Sanremo’s Pizza & Bar, with 50 years of experience, turned me into a drooling pizza prophet—best pizza ever! The crust was so flawless I nearly proposed, the sauce danced like a salsa champ, and the cheese melted into glory that made me weep like a lost toddler! Stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. Ordered a junior (personal) pizza with pepperoni and green pepper. The pizza was hot out of the oven and it was AMAZING. The crust on the bottom was nice and crunchy all the way to the center. The sauce, cheese, and topping ratio was perfect. All around a 10/10 and I’ll be making this a regular lunch stop!

Excellent local pizza joint. Most of the folks here were regulars, and we could understand why! The red sauce for the pizza was some of the best I’ve had, and the crust is that perfect balance of soft and crispy. It definitely hit the spot!

First-time customer, ordered multiple pepperoni and sausage on classic rounds for an employee appreciation event, and Sanremo’s did not disappoint! Tony was great. He had all the pizzas ready on time and even had time to throw in a last-minute request from one of the staff for a cheese only pie, which he accommodated with ease. The sausage (which staff said is homemade) and pepperoni was a winning combination! Looking forward to trying more of the sure to be delicious menu options on return visits in the future. Definitely recommend Sanremo’s to anyone working in the downtown PGH area – only a three or four minute walk from Market Square.
