Tonight we did my husband’s final birthday celebration. He had a lot of surprises this year and capping it off at Ember Lotus was a great way to close it out! The decor is beautiful! The food is fantastic and the sevice was lovely. I wish I had gotten more of the gauchos’ names as we had our favorite, but they were all wonderful. The cold bar (that pepper tuna) and the hot bar (that shrimp and crab toast) were devoured before the main event, the meats! I did not get any pictures of the meat as I was entranced by the variety of meats on swords. They are great about telling you the cut and the temperature so don’t be afraid to say actually I want this or that in a medium or a rare or whatever you like. The picanha was tender and flavorful (ask for the pieces with the char). The garlic sirloin dunked in the horseradish sauce was *chef’s kiss*. The biggest hit with my kids was the grilled pinapple. I’ve never seen them eat so much pineapple in their lives (honorable mention to the miso soup – 4 bowls, 2 kids!). Staff was great but special shout out to Gaucho Michael. So polite but also funny and very attentive. Overall a fantastic experience that I highly recommend. Come hungry and don’t forget the amazing cookies to end a delectable meal! And I almost forgot my Caipirinha! Tasty!

Our first encounter was with the young man who was hostessing, he was kind & friendly and got us seated within 5 minutes!
Our table was near the window and had so much space with comfortable chairs! Our table was clean and neatly organized with cutlery, plates & cloth napkins ✅
This isn’t our first rodeo on experiencing a Brazilian steakhouse but definitely our first mixture of Brazilian & Asian fusion!
Beings we are pescatarian we didn’t partake in the “full experience” including Churrascaria style arrays of meat, but we did have so much more to choose from on the hot & cold bar buffet!
Everything was fresh, delicious & flavorful! Very pleasant to my pallet for sure! Chefs !
Our waitress Michelle was personable, efficient & kind.
We got to shake hands with the impeccable chef Corbin who offered us fresh cinnamon pineapple Churrascaria style since we couldn’t experience the meat portion, we loved chatting with him! He was very kind, professional & personable.
Lastly, we got to meet the amazing Whitney running the show amongst the business of dinner rush and still keeping everything together! She was absolutely lovely to talk with and open to our opinions and valued our input. It was also nice to know that a kind, compassionate & driven young woman is running this beautiful establishment because with a humbled & dedicated manager that trickles down to the all workers creating not only a wonderful place to eat & enjoy the glories of delicious food & drinks but also a wonderful place to work!
Thank you for making my sister and I feel on top of the world! We celebrated my birthday and this was such an amazing way to bring it in!!

I see many complaints about it not being a true Brazilian steakhouse. That’s not what the owner was going for. Fusion means a mix. Don’t expect a 100% Brazilian steakhouse. I lived in Brazil for seven years, and have been to numerous steakhouses down there. I knew what I was expecting, and was not disappointed. I like different things and trying new flavors. The food has been excellent both times that I’ve been There is a big variety of meat and you can request how you want it cooked. The hot food and salad bar are also amazing. Service, even better. The staff are all very friendly and do a wonderful job. The atmosphere is very nice as well. very clean,and organized. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll even get to meet and talk to Whitney, the owner, who is a delightful and amazing person.

Valentine’s week came early for us, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate than Ember Lotus, a Brazilian steakhouse right here in Pooler. Despite the long line when we arrived, our reserved table was ready on time, which was a great start to the evening.
The steaks were absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and served continuously, one after another, until you flip your table light from green to red. The timing was spot-on, and the variety kept the experience exciting from start to finish.
The staff were incredible: attentive, friendly, and full of positive energy. We especially loved how they gathered to celebrate guests’ birthdays, making the atmosphere fun and welcoming for everyone.
Pooler continues to grow as a destination for diverse cuisines, and Ember Lotus truly stands out. A fantastic dining experience and a perfect place for celebrations—we’ll definitely be back in future. ❤️

Hot + Cold Bar – the staff seemed 100% focused on the bars. The bars “lack.” A good example is they have a Caesar Salad, but do not have Caesar dressing. They have a ranch and a pink dressing (assume Russian). There are 16 items in the cold bar (including crackers), and 13 items on the hot bar. I feel they could go back and redo the bars. It should be either Brazilian or Asian, or a fusion, vs what it is now, which is mid.
The meat. I would say A+ for the Churrasco. The menu lists 16 meats, and they had 13 available. They didn’t come immediately, and then came about every 3-4 mins and just stopped. The flank, pineapple, and chicken sausage are A+.
This place is a good idea, but it needs to be reconnected. I would suggest cutting it down to 1 bar for lunch at $29.99, and letting customers know only 6-8 meats are available.
At dinner, do the full bar, and have the full 16 meats and pineapple for dinner.
You also need to add plantains. It’s a staple. And, serve Brazilian rice, not Spanish rice.
The staff is pleasant, but seems both bored and unsure what to do.
Overall I would give this experience a 3.5/5. It’s not Brazilian, it’s not Asian fusion (there is nothing Asian about the menu), and generic Latin food isn’t what draws your to a Brazilian BBQ.

Meats were all cooked expertly, and really love the modern look and vibe here! Unique from other traditional Brazilian Steakhouses, so was refreshing to see a new spin on the decor. The LED lamps are a wonderful and fun alternative to the green/red table cards that you usually have to use to signal if you want more food or not. They’re still very new and within the first week or two of opening so service was a bit slower than what you would normally expect but I’m sure that will improve over time (and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming regardless). Great new addition to the area, will be back!

First of all, congratulations to the beautiful owner, this restaurant is amazing! The atmosphere walking in is breath taking. Seeing the gorgeous crystal drop chandeliers and the chain waterfall first thing, phenomenal. Most buffet places, you know what to expect, the food is usually subpar and overall, unsatisfying. Though, I may be biased since I am a lover of Asian/Brazilian cuisine. This buffet was so delicious, everything was fresh, and when put together, paired nicely with one another. Now.. the main event, the Rodizio meat brought out to the tables, tender, lightly seasoned (but seasoned just enough), tender, juicy. My goodness, you’ll want to get the meat sweats just because of how mouth watering it is. If you plan on getting desert, i recommend the Guava Cheescake, you’ll thank me later. Pooler needed something different and Ember Lotus DID THAT!
