UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND DRUNK FEMALE MANAGER
my partner tried to go into this establishment tonight (december 23rd 10pm), and the female employee (apparently the manager) would not let him in- saying his REAL ID was a fake drivers license. he is almost 30 years old. she was using an ancient ID reader, and told him it would not scan.
my partner, just weeks ago, received his REAL ID from Washington state DMV. he also goes onto the Army and Navy base at JBLM near Seattle (with the most strict access rules in our country) Monday through Friday for his full time career, WITH THIS REAL ID that he used to get into a dumpy dive bar in mission viejo. the REAL ID that he also NEEDED FOR TSA to fly from Washington state to Orange County California.
he showed the employee all of the key aspects on his REAL ID that prove it is indeed a REAL ID. he was being polite and respectful the entire time, trying to work with her.
this “manager” was clearly drunk, stumbling around, and even left the liquor cabinet opened and unlocked- a CUSTOMER had to remind her to close it after 20 minutes of it being open. she was very unprofessional, rude, and obviously uneducated on the exact job that she is upholding here- which is checking IDs.
the owner of this establishment should be aware of this situation, and educate their employees (especially if this drunk female is the manager) on what a REAL ID looks like. seems their scanning machine is very old and faulty as well.
for all the trouble we have to go through to get these REAL IDs, we should not be accused of them being fake, and especially to then not be allowed in an establishment to enjoy time with friends.
my partner also DOESNT EVEN DRINK ALCOHOL. he simply wanted to play pool with friends he only sees once or twice per year. the entire group had to leave and find a different place to play pool.
get a new manager if you want to stop losing business to stupidity!

First time here, as soon as I walked in with the group I was in, bartender asked as very nicely to see our IDs. She joked around and asked us what we wanted to drink. I felt very welcomed. She was upbeat and energetic. Such a sweet woman! The place wasn’t too busy, but it had a good atmosphere. People were just having a good time. Will definitely be returning!

The blonde bartender shrugged when I asked for help with the pool table. I put 5 dollars in and it shut off after two games. Just shrugged.

Not just your local dive off the 5fwy, Shooters provides free billards Mondays for industry night and daily life advice from amazing bartenders like Emily and Nicole who steal the regulars hearts with a wink and a smile. I was just thinking how many times I left with a smile and butterflies in my heart. So now that we have established this “go to” spot, come on down near the Costco and amtrak to see for yourself!

Used to come here and shoot pool a LOT. The front table used to be about the best playing bar box in South county. Friday night ring 9 ball games were brutal but taught me so much and I made a few friends that I’ve now known for almost 20 years. They (at least for years used to) consistently hire really good bartenders! Lovie, Lizzy, Natalie, Shannon, Sandy, Talia… Nothing but fond memories!

Horrible place. Went there the other day and was treated by a dog at the bar. So that was interesting then I was approached by a patron who clearly was over served and he asked me if I’ve had any experience with bats.. The bar tender then informed me that there was a bat flying around in the bar.. So after watching about 20 minutes of drunken bat chasing, I decided to get a beer. I put the one beer on my tab and began to play some pool. Tables were okay but it was a nice 80 degrees in there. I then said this place sucks and I’m out. Went to close my tab and was charged 8$ for my one beer… I then told the bartender that I only had one and she said that she thought I would come back for another so she just went ahead and charged me for another one and then said she can’t refund me and there’s nothing she could do. I’m never coming back there. At least the beer was warm!

Went with two friends last night. Totally fine, normal dive atmosphere at first. Then this guy comes up to us, asks us if we want any drinks, grabs my drink specifically and clearly dropped something into it. My friend noticed something fizzing at the bottom of it after he did this. Quietly brought my drink to the bartender after this happened to get it replaced. Instead of taking me seriously, she tells me she needs to charge me for the extra drink (which, okay—it’s well gin and tonic, maybe a $1 max in actual costs) and that there’s no one at that bar she doesn’t trust—so she proceeds to take a sip of my drink to prove me wrong. It was very uncomfortable at that point, didn’t feel safe—will not return
