This was the old Wok n Roll! One of my all time favorites. Still excellent food. Delicious flavors, generous portions and reasonable prices. Walking around is great from the Omni.

Great sushi. Lovely owners. It’s a bit bustling on the inside, so if you’re looking for a “relaxing” inside dining experience, I wouldn’t put Isshin in that bucket.

The sushi is consistent and the rice on the outside is very thin (my favorite). The Isshin roll is a classic non-complex roll with salmon/tuna that I find filling (they do 6 piece rolls rather than 8, but the fish amount makes up for that). Lunch specials are good – 2 rolls and miso soup for ~$15.

very nice sushi spot. good lunch special for 13.95 where you get 2 rolls and a decently sized miso soup.

i loved the spicy tuna roll. good amount of spice and nice and crunchy. i didn’t like the philadelphia roll as much. good fisj but a little too much cream cheese.

the service is great! the waitress was so sweet and attentive. nice interior and the bathroom has nice renovations. a bit small so it can get a little cold when people are in and out.

good spot! will definitely be coming back again

Not only is every dish delicious, but the service at Isshin is so warm, so welcome and so lovely. Secret menu item is the handmade dumplings (they have two types so ask for these specifically). Their miso soup is very rich but not overly salty, which can be difficult to find, yet it is here daily and for a good price. I’m particularly in love with their udon noddles, which I get vegetarian with tofu, and the veggies are perfectly crisp. Their sushi rolls are fresh and I never get the seaweed burps. They know us when we walk in and make my wife and I feel like family. Become a regular, it’s worth it.

Legit the best Thai Tea I’ve ever had. The service and atmosphere were amazing, the staff was incredibly attentive, and the food was so good. Definitely recommend for a good spot to eat in dc especially since it’s in such a cute town.

Great sushi place in Adams Morgan. Tasty food and friendly service. Glad to have them back. Same owner from Wok N Roll. Their sashimi is fresh and the avocado salad I ordered was yummy. They are also doing the promotion for delivery now. I can’t wait to order again.

I ordered take-out via Grubhub, the sushi was very fresh & tasted great. Presentation was all there however, the Volcano appetizer was tiny. For $13.00 and it being that small, if I had dined in the restaurant and it came out like that I would have sent it back. I won’t be ordering that again!

This place is walking distance from my work. I’ve ordered from this place a couple times and also dined in. I like coming here because I can have a nice peaceful lunch break. I have say the best dish I ordered was the tofu dish for lunch, it was reasonable priced. However, the non veg dishes started tasting horrible. I got super sick today after ordering lunch from them. I ordered a chicken dish once and it was so bad I got sick afterwards. I still went back and got another dish and it was ok and gave them more chances. I tried the shrimp dish with veggie and my stomach was horrible the rest of the day at work. I guess at this point my stomach doesn’t like this food. Nice staff but I won’t be coming here anymore as I’ll won’t be working in Adams Morgan anymore.

The absolute best sushi delivery in DC. Fresh sashimi and sushi – a reliable spot every time! The best price-quality deal that I’ve ever seen from all the other places I’ve lived in the US, or Europe. The attention to detail is also super impressive (the flower!).

Great job, Isshin Asian Bistro team, keep it up!!
