We have tried about every Mexican restaurant in Bluffton. The quest is over. We have found our favorite in Agave Azul. Daniel was a spectacular server. He was very kind and friendly. I ordered the steak fajitas. I could not finish them because there was so much. My wife has a beef enchilada and she said it was the best ever. The salsa was spot on and if you mix it with their hot sauce it is over the top wonderful. I highly recommend you give this place a try. It is on the corner of Riverwalk and Browns Cove.

First, difficult to find! Second underwhelmed, only because we’re looking for a Mexican restaurant near us that serves food less bland. Where is the chili? The cumin, the garlic, the flavor?? The meal was just ok. The service was great. The music was too loud, but our server was so happy he was singing – and that was wonderful.
My taco was terrible (cold over fried hard shell overpowering the great steak, cilantro and onions – but the shell fell into pieces and was a mess), my enchilada was terrible (the tortilla was..? Too strong a flavor for the bland cheese, the ranchero sauce was good, but the cheese :(.. I poured salsa from the table on everything to try to find flavor)… the groubd beef burritos my girl chose were really good. The groubd beef chimi my guy bought had shredded beef instrad, not the best, and x not what he wanted) it was just ok. Nothing was perfect, but our singing waiter. OH, wait, the rice and beans, the chips, salsa and soda (uncharacteristically FULL OF CARBONATION!!!) Were really good!
If you want chips, salsa and a coke (served with a smile), I highly recommend.
***I wanted to comment on the plating. The dishes looked wonderful! The visual portion of a meal is so important, and the kitchen staff should be proud, they did a great job.

Amazing place! Food was great. They got everything right, that rarely ever happens but this was just one of those hidden gems that you know you’ll always go back to. Carlitos was our server and he took great care of us. Would recommend for everyone

Best tamales I’ve ever had. Also really loved their carnitas meat which I had with their street tacos. I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried. Really good food and great prices. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and friendly service, but very limited signage–I drove around the complex twice before I found the establishment (a typical issue in Riverwalk Professional Park). I ate here outside of normal “busy” time. I appreciated that the server allowed me time to enjoy my delicious chips and flavorful salsa. The lunch cheesesteak burrito, sadly, was underwhelming. The rice, beans, and pico de gallo were delicious, but the meat inside the cheesesteak was unseasoned, dry, and contained lots of fat and gristle. I will definitely be back to try other items and hope to update and increase the stars in my review. It was probably just not a good time of day.

I’m still pretty on the fence about this place. I finally decided to try it and the service wasn’t bad. It also seemed pretty clean in here. The restaurant itself is cute. The only thing that threw me off was I ordered chorizo tacos and my tacos tasted and smelled and tasted fishy … as if they had cooked it in a pan or grill right after seafood. I don’t eat seafood so it was a turn off for me and I was unable to finish my tacos. I might give this place another chance but Idk yet.

I stopped in for lunch today and was greeted and seated promptly. Halfway through my meal I went to the restroom and returned to an empty table. The server with out asking took it upon himself to make what should have been my decision that I was finished. I was so mad at the time I honestly didn’t even want to discuss it with him or manager. The meal was like 18 bucks so a gave him a twenty and walked out. I will not be returning to this establishment in the future., hopefully everyone else has a better experience than I did. It seemed to me that the servers treated you a certain way depending on your appearance. I wasn’t wearing a suit but at the same time I wasn’t covered in dirt of grease. Just bad service in my opinion.

Grabbed dinner after packing to move. The food is always good here and they serve great Mezcal drinks and flavored margaritas. Service was great at first but after my friend got a box to take leftovers home we waited and waited to get the check. Our server had headphones on listening to music and playing on his cell phone. He walked right by us and went outside the front door for a few minutes. When he came back in he was still dancing with headphones in his ears and looking at his phone. Finally he looked up and I still had to flag him down. Also, every server was sitting up front rolling flatware at 7:30pm. Felt really rushed up until it was time for the check.
Still the food is really good and the menu offers a great variety. Just hope to get a different server next time.

Clean and fresh look to the place. We were greeted nicley and served chips and salsa. Chips were a little thick for my preference but the salsa had character. A little more smoke and pepper than most. Unfortunately, the fajitas lacked any depth of flavor. Salty sure, back really lacked any sort of diversity in seasoning you typically get from worthwhile mexican joints. The balance though was the real problem. It desperately needed acid. Overall a maybe return but there are so many options in the area
