Osmend was great and very accommodating, clear on the options with every choice we made for our meal. Only critique is the quality of the Mac and cheese not tasting like cheese but butter noodles, and the steak was overcooked a notch. But for its price it’s not too terrible, and it is a nice sit down and the food does come out fast. I think if it wasn’t for Osmend’s personality and experience at check out this would have been a underwhelming meal.

Decided to place a pickup order tonight for the first time. The place was packed, including over 10 people waiting for their orders. They had 1 server, I believe her name was Deborah, running back and forth- packing the orders, taking orders, and also helping the dine-in family. I felt terrible for her. How could a business leave her by herself? It was very unsettling to see her stressed out, have people’s phones in their face asking where there order is, and making sure everything was accurate. I waited over 25 minutes for my order, and by the time I got my food, it was ice cold. I thought it would be on the hotter scale since as soon as it went on the table, it was packed it up and handed it to me. It was crazy! A doordasher said to me “Is it always like this?” I said, “Honestly, this is my first time here!”. I don’t know if i’ll come back to the Deer Park location, which sucks since it’s closest to me. They need to treat their employees correct, and make sure their food quality is up to standard. $35 for my food and it was cold, late, and employees treated unfairly.
Update: I ended up being able to connect with the manager Cristi who I spoke with on the phone for an hour about the situation; she was able to provide me a $50 credit next time I come in and explained the whole situation about the night I went so I felt better. I decided to go back the other day since the last time I went was when I wrote this review. I asked the young worker if I can use my voucher and he said “You can but we’re really busy right now,” (almost sounding annoyed I wanted to order?) and then proceeded to walk away mid conversation to answer the phone. Not even an “excuse me one second”. I was shocked! I stood there, waiting, and when he came back he didn’t say anything so I said “Sooo can I use it?” And he informed me it would be a 30 minute wait. I left, not ordering anything and decided to email Cristi about it, so she knows how the operations are running on a Friday night. While I haven’t received a response, I wish Applebees Deer Park success as I will not be returning. I didn’t even use the credit, and it seems their wait times are always long. I’ll be sticking to my normal Applebees in another town. It sucks because I wanted to give them another chance but it seems it is always busy, understaffed, and poor communication.

Everything here is incredible. 10/10 food quality, service and cleanliness. Its a very welcoming environment and I cant wait to come back with my wife. Highly recommended for both sit down and take out.

For a small little Applebee’s , they are awesome!
The staff was friendly and the menu they have is perfect for a quick little applebees run !
They do have a small section for sitting so if u do go with ppl you can sit and enjoy your meal !
They have a limited menu ,but they have all the best things applebees has to offer, all in all , I will definitely come back to this location! 🙂

ENOUGH OF THIS! This Applebee’s is takeout only. BUT THERE IS NO NOTTICE OF THIS ON THE LISTING. Was a “nice” drive with my hungry family to find out you can’t eat here. UNBELIEVABLY DISAPPOINTED!

They opened on Tuesday the have a small menu of some of the most popular items. OMG so good. They do erve salmon and shrimp and they cook the fridge food with the shrimp. So seafood allergies please be careful. I ordered the ribs full rack with honey BBQ sauce. It was sweet and spicy so good. We also ordered the three cheese chicken Penne. Pasta was perfect sauce creamy chicken grilles perfectly.
When you order ahead they have these numbered boxes s when your order is ready your food goes into the box. Great idea. The hate a few tables to use but for table service. You order take it to table eat, clean up yourself and leave.
Everyone was so nice and helpful and they knew what to do went I said seafood allergy. I was taken care of. Wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back.

Ordered 2 medium rare steaks with salads, loaded mashed and tomato soup. Both steaks were well, well done and the lettuce was not fresh, lots of brown, in 2 of the salads. The soup must have been packaged lukewarm because it was cold by the time I got to my destination. The potatoes were good. I was offered a credit. But for a place that just opened, they really need to try harder to be better.
