My husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary on Halloween with lunch and cake at Dwayne’s. I’ve posted pics of our drinks, my lunch and this adorable cake. I had the filet tips with fried spinach and blue cheese. It was incredible. The steak was cooked perfectly and so tender. The drinks were excellent. The cake was a maple flavor and gluten free. I was hesitant about a gluten free cake but it was moist and delicious. We sat in the bar. The staff was friendly and I loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

Came to town from Atlanta for a family reunion and my first order of business was to try out my cousin’s restaurant! I had the Oh My Cod fish sandwich with hush puppies and a Bourbon Pineapple Splash. The food was amazing, fresh and well portioned. definitely comfort/homestyle dining. The atmosphere was so cozy with a cute patio area. The only complaint that I have is that our waitress Sophie took a while to get our orders started but we were taken care of by two other ladies in the meantime. If you love good food and a chill, family friendly experience, you should add this spot to your list.

Me and my good friend had made a trip out this way to buy a car. We looked online for a local spot to grab a late lunch. We saw the pictures of the smash burgers and decided we had to come try them! We both got the bacon jam smash burger and it was incredible! The beef was soo good and cooked perfectly with a nice crispy sear on the patties. The cheese was perfectly melted as well as a perfectly toasted bun which is in my opinion, one of the most important parts of a good burger! The bacon jam accented the savory of the burger just perfectly, though I could have even used a little more on it lol. We also got a basket of the beer battered fries and a side of ranch to dip them in. The fries were absolutely perfect, but the ranch was killer! Its definitely a thick, homemade ranch that i will make the 2 hour drive back for again some day soon! If you are anywhere near here and want a delicious meal, you HAVE to check this joint out! Oh and we got these MASSIVE oatmeal cream pies that were soooo good! Nice and soft on the inside with a little crisp on the outside which was a very pleasant surprise! We both said that was the best burger we had ever eaten!

Stopped by on the way through town for a late lunch with a group of 4. We were sat immediately and the staff was friendly, including our server. Cozy ambiance.
The food was underwhelming. I had the fish and chips but with onion rings. The slaw didn’t have much flavor. The fish was decent but it included only 3 small tender-shaped pieces. For $20+, I expected a larger portion of protein.
My colleagues ordered the nashville hot chicken sandwich and mentioned that it tasted like regular buffalo sauce.

Great place to dine with a dog. Hostess sat us on the patio in the shade. Low 80s and a light breeze was wonderful. Excellent service, even brought ice water for the dog. Food was well prepared and tasty. Wife had the market salad with grilled salmon. I had the fish and chips. We were the only ones on the patio at the time and our waitress never forgot us. Good dining experience all around.

Would not recommend any bakery orders from this restaurant. I paid 52 dollars for this six inch cake, only to not be shown the cake until it was paid for. This is my reference and this is what I received.
Walmart is half the price and looks more professional.
Female at the door is very sweet, the cake maker however is not.

I did receive a refund and the owner was nice and helpful up until she had seen this review (posted before any refund or response was made) – I appreciate the kindness before but not professional to email someone over a honest review at the time. Had loved this place for the food and location, but won’t be back again!

I only ordered a cod fish sandwich, and it was so delicious. It was huge and filling…basically an entire fish dinner on the sandwich bun. Then I had a loaded baked potato they wasn’t stingy with the toppings. It was cooked perfectly, and satisfying. Hunter was my server, and she got my food out very fast. It was busy, but a chill atmosphere. I believe this Restaurant will last years to come, and will be a staple in Historical Town of Abingdon. Congratulations Mr. ANDERSON!

Here visiting and the food was amazing!We ordered the jam-on-it burger and my husband enjoyed it!I ordered the fish and chips and they were so good! cooked to perfection(im not one to order seafood either) we also got the smothered fries and asked our waiter for jalapeños….chefs kiss!If they made Baja style fish tacos with the cod filets,id eat them all the time!10/10 highly recommend
