Dined here with my mother recently and what a delight to find such a gem of a restaurant. I was so surprised to find tucked in the forests of North Jersey exists such an elegant establishment. The food and service were nothing short of what you would expect in NYC fine dining. My mother especially appreciated the ambiance and the sea bass special. My rib eye was very flavorful and came out searing on a hot plate. The staff were very attentive and courteous, the owner even stopped by to introduce himself and ensure everything was to our liking.
The overall experience was top notch. I look forward to dining here in the future and exploring the rest of the extensive menu.

Food was great. We ordered the Prime Ribeye steak, Seafood cioppino with mussels and clams and the Entrée with salmon and vegetables. It was great overall. I’d come here again. The steak was very soft and tender. I recommend it.

My partner and I discovered this restaurant a few months ago, decided to give it a try and loved the food. So much so we came back a second and third time. Unfortunately though, the last visit wasn’t good at all, we came, was taken to our tables and ordered water as our beverage and had to wait over 30 minutes for just that. But that wasn’t the worst part, there were times the host wasn’t busy and even looked at us, I made sure to make eye contact with him, and hadn’t come to bring us our water (tap at that). This went on longer than it should. We had to ask another host for water and another for bread being it was a bit of a drive and we were a bit hungry.

The host that bought us bread, (not our initial host) was another that was kind enough to ask if we wanted some and brought us the bread and oil but our main host just kept pretending like he didn’t notice us until it got to a point where we were almost having a staring contest and had to call him out.

After finally getting our order taken, we waited over 45 minutes for that just to come out, by then I had already lost my appetite because of the service. Another thing I noticed, this is the only restaurant I’ve ever been to that switches its hosts midway through serving you. The first time we came, that happened and I believe the third time as well. But the last visit is why I’m giving this place two stars. The having us wait, was most definitely intentional given there were multiple occasions where we locked eyes with our host and saw he was not doing anything at all. I mentioned to my partner that I noticed this about him the first time he served us but I believe in letting things show in a pattern before I make any speculations and our last visit confirmed it. It was very unwelcoming and impolite, will not be running back to this restaurant any time soon.

Went for brunch, but could also order from the regular menu. The food is delicious and the service, impeccable. The staff is attentive but not overbearing. They have specialty cocktails, crafted to perfection. Highly recommend.

When my partner, and I first found this restaurant, we thought the food was amazing, I absolutely loved their lobster bisque, as well as some of other dishes. So we’ve gone it back a few times, but each time we go back. It seems the services is the bare minimum. If not worse every time. First time it wasn’t too bad, but the second, third, and most recently the fourth time. The service seemed subpar compared to other guests that were in the restaurant. It’s about an hour and a half drive for us so we make that commute. Totally three hours total just for this restaurant, there’s nothing else that we do in this area. The last three times the servers have switched midway through our dining. But this last time is when I drew the line. We came in the evening with my small child, not only did we have to stand in the door way for 10 minutes while other servers saw us before we were able to get seated. But even when I requested water and bread right when our server came to seat us. It then took 25 minutes for us to recieve the water and a another 10 minutes before we got the bread. Mind you we waited AGAIN after receiving the bread before the server came to take our order. Even though we made prolonged eye contact with me jestering that I needed him. By the time they came to take our order, we had already been there for an hour. While other tables that matched the likeness of the majority of staff who also came after us were seated, orders taken and served within that time frame. After being at the restaurant for almost an hour and a half and still not having received our main entree. We were so angry and frustrated that we stated we wanted to leave. It was only then did the server finally come over and tell us that our entrees were “almost” done cooking. Due to the obvious negligence, disrespect, and unfair treatment. We will not be returning. It’s so upsetting that in this day in age. This kind of treatment is still being allowed.

Went for early dinner with my wife, and since it was valentine’s it was a prefix menu. Choices were good: Had oysters and baked clam as appetizers. For entree she e got the Penne a la vodka with the salmon and I got the NY strip with the zucchini and potato croquet. For dessert we went with the tiramisu and the tres leches. They were OK. Service was great, very attentive staff. The building has been renovated i think since the last time we had gone there prior to becoming Prime. Overall had a great time.

The food was so well planned and fresh and executed to perfection. The staff treated us like old friends and we LOVE Gina the bartender!!!!! We will be back (a lot). The cocktails were classy and prepared in such a professional manner. Gina makes perfect cocktails!!!!

I decided to take my 11 years old nephew for diner. We chose this place because he wanted to eat octopus first time in his life. It was great experience I recommend french onion soup and my nephew really enjoyed the octopus from appetizers menu. Filet steak was cooked how I wanted medium rear. Food was seasoned well and looked good. Server was very nice very welcoming and he did make us feel comfortable. Prices are ok for place like this.

One of our spots; Love the food and the wait staff. Our meal was delicious as usual. The appetizer was Ari’s seafood salad, the temperature was perfect (room temp) not. Cold the dressing was light and flavorful and the seafood tender and delicious. For dinner we had the Broiled Halibut (reg menu) cooked perfect and my wife had the chicken special (Pollo Al Casa) the sauce was amazing. No room for a solid dessert but we did do an espresso martini (not creamy) in the top 3 of espresso martini’s we have had. We will be back !!! Maggie and Jim

Definitely one of West Milford’s best and probably the only fine dining in town. Have been coming here since it was Momento. Under new ownership/management sand great service and food but menu has mich more variety from more expensive (but reasonably priced) steaks to lower (and well) priced chicken and seafood options. We went the steak route tonight. Filet and porterhouse for two. Good apps and desserts too.
