This place was simply amazing.
Everything we ate was done very well and not over seasoned.
Finally, a restaurant where the artisans were craftsmen at their task.
The meatloaf was what I would define a meatloaf should taste like. The sauce on the meatloaf was not ketchup in taste.
The red snapper was done so well and I can honestly not remember the last time.I saw someone with red snapper on their menu.
The Catfish with the tartar sauce was amazing.
And The corn casserole was out of this world.
This place obviously warrants a revisit in the near future.

Service was great, they could have more servers on Friday lunches it seems last time I was there. Only reason the atmosphere didn’t get five stars is the rolly chairs are a weird decision though now that I’m thinking about it I should just request a booth. Salad bar is always stocked fully with everything nice and cold and fresh with a great selection. I usually get the all you can eat salad bar but every time I have ordered something off the menu it was outstanding.

We have been planning to go to The Loft for a while and decided that last night was the time. There have been many rave reviews, which lead us to have pretty high expectations. I am pleased to say that they were easily met. The entire experience ensured that we will return. It started with the giant saltwater fish tank at the elevator, continued as we made our way through the light and airy dining area, and ended with an excellent dinner.
Our waitress Serenity was excellent. She answered any questions that we had about the menu and she took very good care of us during our dinner.
They had a good choice of items on the menu, some of which are higher priced than others, but they are definitely more affordable then some people probably would believe. Our food was fresh and very tasty. Jennifer had the salad bar and a bowl of tomato basil soup. I opted for the meatloaf with green beans and macaroni and cheese. Jennifer has a pretty refined palate and really appreciates a savory tomato soup, which is not something that is easily found. I am pretty particular about meatloaf, green beans and macaroni and cheese. LOL. I decided to go all out and put them to the total test. We both were extremely happy with our dinner. Everything was prepared flawlessly. I even have to say that the sweet tea was very good, and not overly sweet. I don’t usually get dessert but I opted to try the blueberry cobbler. It came in its own little tin and had a topping like a fruit crisp. It was just as excellent as the dinner.
I ventured outside, despite the fact that it has been raining off and on all day, just to check out the deck area. I know that I look forward to spending some time up there with friends in the future on a temperate spring/summer/fall evening. There were plenty of chairs as well as benches and couches for people to sit together and have an enjoyable evening under the stars.
I would definitely rate this among the best restaurants in Wichita Falls and would encourage everyone to try it at least once. Like I said, you can go there and spend $75 or $100 a person, or you could spend about $15 a person, and either way you will be equally satisfied.

This was our first time visiting the loft. Luckily it was cool enough to have dinner out on the balcony. Service was good as well as the food! My first time visit I ordered the catfish. It came with two sides which I got the mashed potatoes and fried okra. Great experience, will be back!

Very disappointing. My Red Snapper was tough and over cooked and bland. The baked potato was also cold and was not fresh. My margarita was ok but not best I’ve had( needs some work). The salad bar was great and loved the house Ranch dressing. Very slow service and even though Friday night only had a few tables. So unsure why food took so long. Disappointed that food Luke warm after waiting so long

TLDR overpriced mediocre food in a bland environment.

The food was… decent but a bit overpriced. My wife and I had the burger and fried chicken, and while those were solid the sides were extremely lackluster. My cornbread was cold (the green beans were fine though). Her fries looked and tasted like a bag of frozen fries that were quickly cooked and thrown on a plate. The hush puppies had little flavor as well.

Service was good, nothing spectacular but our server did his job well.

The atmosphere though was… bland. It felt like I was eating in a soulless corporate office, just trade the cubicles for booths. Speaking of, the booths felt to far away from the tables, and I had to sit all the way on the edge just to comfortably eat my food over the table.

We probably wont be back, especially at the current price point of the food here. Its especially rough because you look at some of the menu pictures from a year or so ago and prices appear to be up 10-20% across the board (with some being even higher). The food quality just didn’t match up with current prices.

I had never heard of This restaurant and I love this atmosphere for Wichita Falls. We chose to sit outside. It was nice and well lit.I had red snapper and my red snapper was a bit overcooked however, I ate some of my dates catfish and it was pretty good. The hush puppies were good as well. The greens were good. The mashed potatoes were good. The sweet potato casserole was superb. Overall, I’m gonna give this place 8 out of 10 stars. Will be back

The food was good. The presentation of the food was nicely done. The meatloaf, sweet potato casserole, and chicken fried steak were delicious. The catfish needed a little more flavor but was flakey and nicely battered. The deviled eggs and fried tomatoes were tasty.

Reservations were easy, and our table was ready. We had choice of dining room or patio. Patio seating is shaded and it was comfortable on an October evening.

We all ordered various southern dishes and everyone cleaned their plate! Meatloaf was just as expected, sliced think then fried crispy. Fried chicken and chicken-fried steaks were great, and the burger was juicy and cant-put-it-downable. Lots of side dishes to try. Collard greens were awesome. The salad bar stole the show, though. Biggest and widest selection we’ve seen in a while, and certainly best salad downtown. Huge bar and wine list.

Inside music was great! (We liked the throwback tunes.) Wait staff attentive and friendly. The owner came by to check on us, too, and chatted for a bit.

Apps, two entrees, a dessert, and drinks for two and our ticket was right at $60.

(Forgot to get a few photos until everyone had stared tucking in. Sorry!)

It’s was my birthday & my son took us to the Loft. I had the smothered pork chop w/2 sides mashed potatoes & fried okra. He had the Red Snapper which they have obviously improved cooking. The fish was perfect & pork chop was gigantic taste was on point. The sides were a bit disappointing. The bsussels sprouts were tough but tasty my m.potatoes were bland like they were made from flaked. Otherwise we had a great time. They’re baked pot/soup & salad bar was Fantastic!Fantastic! I will try a burger next time
