We love the prix fix menu and the fries, especially. We tried the Australian wagyu instead of the standard new york strip but the regular medium rare was a little too hard to chew and cut. When it was made medium it was very good. The service was good but the atmosphere stole the show

My husband and I decided to do date night here. The atmosphere was beautiful but the food was underwhelming!! Especially for the price!!! They have a pre fixed menu featuring steak fries and a salad that’s suppose to be shareable!!! They only had flank steak available that night. Which is the cheapest steak you can get!!! Only 4 oz a person. The waiter tried to tell us it was 8oz a person…. No wayyyyy!! I have pictures!! The fries were super greasy, the salad had barely any dressing and the bread was super hard!!! We got one cocktail a piece for a total of $164!!! Which is really insane!! 1/4 piece of flank steak and greasy fries. I honestly felt like we got scammed!

We were seated 45 minutes after our reservation. The employee recommended that we stand outside in the cold while we waited for our table to be ready. The host was not apologetic at all about the wait or us standing in the cold. The steak, salad, bread, and drinks were good. The fries were amazing, probably the best fries I’ve ever had.

Well let me say this….I have never had a black label hot dog before as a matter of fact I never even heard of it. This was absolutely the most delicious hot dog I have eaten. Very juicy and flavorful! Love the music and the atmosphere! Thank you bar blanc for a great LA Fritere experience! I will be back for the next pop up!! P.S. this is a must try!!

It was my first time experiencing Bar Blanc, the anticipation was high. Summer (our server) was extremely attentive and sweet. Summer walked me through the experience and explained everything in full detail. The price point was amazing, however, I do have some feedback. The salad and bread was definitely shareable, the dressing on the salad was delicious. My take away is that there was not a clear indication of 2 servings of steak, both orders were on the same plate and not separated. It would have been nice for myself and my guest to clearly see that we both received equal portions. The garlic aioli and bernaise was delicious. I’m very excited I finally got to experience this. Oh, my other take away, the “hidden fees” on drinks not knowing it’s an upcharge to make an Old Fashioned, it was $6 total, things like that should be communicated, my guest also had upcharges on their drinks. I will be returning.

What an experience! First off this place is beautiful even in the day time. Perfect patio option for this summer when you’re on a date night or lunch meeting. We sat inside and it was small yet comfortable and equally beautiful as the patio. Love the concept that they serve the same the thing to everyone. Start with a menu for cocktails or wine. Then get dinner started. They will bring out the bread freshly baked with some salted butter and a salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I could’ve ate 2 loafs of bread it was so good. Then you choose how you want your steak cooked that comes out already sliced and with unlimited fries!! Which are these crispy thick cut potatoes served with just about any sauce you want. Those were my favorite part!

Bar Blanc is heaven on earth for lovers of the venerable French classic – steak and frites. For a fixed $49.99 price tag, you get amazingly juicy steak accompanied by the traditional bearnaise sauce, superbly crispy fries, a very good baguette, and a salad to boot. It was all exceptional. Since we don’t drink, I can’t comment on the alcohol being served, but the many patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves considerably. While it’s a small bar, the ambiance is charming and somewhat hip. And the service was top-notch. Since they don’t take reservations, I’d recommend arriving early, otherwise be prepared for a long wait. We arrived with a party of nine people and had a great evening. Interestingly enough, I loved the fries the most. The steak was excellent, but the fries were some of the best I’ve ever tried. Thick and very crunchy, just like the doctor ordered. Will coming back very soon!

We had heard so many great things about Bar Blanc and were excited to finally try it! The first couple of times we stopped by were before they allowed reservations, and unfortunately, there was no seating available since it’s such a small restaurant. The good news is that now you can make reservations, which makes things so much easier.
The space itself is beautiful. There’s a small indoor seating area and a lovely outdoor space. The bar is stunning, and the overall vibe inside feels chic and glamorous, in my eyes, it almost has a Gatsby feel. One thing I really appreciated is how the servers all seemed to work together as a team, which made the service smooth and enjoyable.
The concept here is unique: the menu is built around just three items, plus a great drink selection. For $50, you get a steak, a salad, and unlimited fries. The fries were super crunchy and delicious, the salad was fresh and tasty, and the steak, while just one cut, can be cooked however you like. The steak itself was just okay in my opinion, but honestly, for $50 with everything included, it’s hard to complain.
Overall, I think Bar Blanc is a place everyone should experience at least once. The vibe is great, the concept is fun, and the fries alone make it worth trying. While I don’t think it will become a frequent spot for me, I definitely recommend giving it a try at least once!

Underwhelmed. I had high expectations coming in after Little Sparrow, but this just wasn’t as good. We had a group of 4 at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, 8/14/24. There was no wait for outside and over an hour wait for inside, so we sat outside. Outside was very lovely!
Seeing as the only thing on the menu is the steak, that’s what we got. The fries were out of this world. The salad was fine. The bread was great. But the steak was average. My husband makes better steak at home. Bar Blanc’s steak needed seasoning. I feel like they rely on the Béarnaise sauce to provide the flavor, but even that was subpar.
Oh well.

My fiancée and I came in for a drink after we finished with dinner downstairs. We wanted to love this place so much.. the ambiance is so comfy and inviting that we were hoping to find our new go to. Unfortunately, as soon as we walked in the host was unpleasant and rude. We gave it a try though and continued to the bar. My fiance asked to order a Sauvignon Blanc and the bartender agreed. Come to find out they didn’t even carry Sav Blanc and he “was going to try and give her something close to it” until we asked to see the menu! When we went to close out the bartender charged me incorrectly & then instead of asking for my card to fix the mistake and recharge me for the correct amount he then stated that he “just ran my card again”. Which honestly concerns me because how did they just “run my card again” for a different amount without my consent or my actual physical card!?? All in all, not what we had hoped for or expected. The staff also gave an entitled better than you attitude which was not lovely to be around!
