I ordered for my wife and I steak over rice that’s ground steak With potato salad and macaroni and cheese and of course a roll of course which I ordered cornbread, but got a roll is dead. Was very disappointed used to love this place and the food was always good but the food today was not good at all. I took it home and both my wife and I decided separately she was in the bedroom because she is sick and I went in there to clean up and she said that she did not like what we had got and I said I did not either and we both decide to give it to my 90 pound German Shepherd. I’m not that picky but I do appreciate something of quality especially when it cost you almost 40 bucks.

To be honest with you , we went around 1:32 we payed around $48 dollars and i ordered a cheeseburger, and my wife ordered a cheeseburger. My kid had grilled cheese and then we ordered a hot dog to go well. The cheeseburgers tasted off very sour taste. And we didn’t finish it And my wife didn’t eat hers nothing wrong with the grilled cheese or the hot dog.But later that day, I got sick 3 times and then was on the toilet all night call my doctor this morning and they said there was nothing they can do about food poisoning.I recommend do not eat here and I hear here for years , and now this happened service was good. We had a great server, very nice woman. The food went downhill and it sucked

Always enjoyed the cafe however the prices have went up again, about $5.00 per dish. Be careful folks now you’ll be paying almost $14 for a 4 vegetable plate! way too much in my opinion. Maybe worth heating your pintos at home 🙂

Hence my review, I know a lot of elderly eat at your establishment, my 80 y/o included – they need to know if the prices go up before they arrive .

We were looking for a family-style place to get a good meat and 2 veggies. (roll or cornbread included). This is the place. Julia our server was on top of it. AND they had homemade cookies at check out. Yummy!!

If you’re looking for a big country breakfast, this is the place to go. The food and the service are amazing. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after we ordered. It was hot and delicious. We ordered the egg and bacon platter and Belgian waffles. Both were great! The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking. For 2 meals and 2 drinks, the bill was $25.25.

The wait staff is excellent. They are friendly and accommodating. The food is off and on. I ordered the spaghetti with marina sauce. The salad was portioned more than the spaghetti but all was filling. Charge for cheese and charge for the spaghetti entree before 4 pm. The sauce had a slight red pepper taste which was good. The garlic bread was a little skimpy. Overall, good meal. Small town kitchen does not have a senior citizen discount or menu and you cannot order a child’s plate as an adult!!

The service seemed unprepared and had to wait longer than expected.
I ordered a burger, it was terrible. It had a horrible aftertaste. My stomach started hurting when I got home. I also got fries, they were fine.
Another in my party got country steak, she said it wasn’t good and the corn wasn’t good.
My little sister got chicken tenders, they were average.
Overall, mediocre service, bad food especially for the prices.
(I hear their breakfast is good, but I ordered off the lunch/dinner)

Update: Just had the BBQ plate for lunch and the BBQ is horrible! It’s like slop. No way worth what we paid. They used to have good food what has happened?
Update: just went and ordered the chicken pot pie was not a fan of how much pepper and how the crust was made from pastry sheets like a croissant. Also the hashbrown casserole is not up to par. Clover station in clover has the best around. I was kinda disappointed in today’s visit with the food.
Great food and customer service! Food was fresh and hot. Fried green tomatoes are a must! Will be back! You will not be disappointed…
