Good food, friendly service. Be aware that this is not a smoke free environment. Come early if you want biscuits and pie. The pecan pie is excellent.

Was super excited to find a new breakfast place close to home again. The rusty spur closed down and the place in Mansfield is closed now too. I’m glad I checked before going in, though. There is smoking inside. I am deathly allergic to nicotine and any kind of tobacco smoke. I took one step inside and had to turn right back around and leave. It reeks of cigarettes. That sucks. Oh well. It was a nice idea while it lasted. Too bad I wasted the gas driving there.

Ok, the food was not that great, cold and it took 20 minutes for eggs and toast. There was a group of individuals who were smoking, the airbase so filled with it that it had a haze in the room. Im a smoker and I was struggling with the smoke in there. There was also a very upset, heated and loud “conversation” happening at the time. Very uncomfortable. And as a heads up it is a “cash only” place. It was extremely inexpensive. Paid under 20 bucks for two people.

Stopped in for breakfast. It was really good, had the usual ham and eggs and omelette biscuits and gravy, would give it five stars completely if it wasn’t for the smoking that is allowed in the restaurant. Otherwise highly recommend

The food is generally solid but their pancakes are to die for! The staff is attentive and there’s something special about an ash tray on the table.

Best biscuits and gravy I think I’ve ever had! The only micro-frustration is that they don’t take cards and I have been known to not have any cash on hand therefore I’d have to run around town to get some…but, perhaps and especially for me, that’s a good thing as I’d probably eat there every morning if they did. Wonderful people. Wonderful food. Did I mention how wonderful the people!?

We stopped by there on our way to Seymour because I remembered going there as a child with my dad and it was always good. Well when We were met with the overpowering order of cigarette smoke we should have left them but we thought we were there we might as well eat. Wrong decision, the waitress greeted us with, we don’t take cards only cash! We both ordered a French toast and they made it w/ wheat bread. I guess that they had but it wasn’t very tasty. We won’t be back!
