What the heck happened to this place??? Tonight ordered Greek Salad with Chicken Souvlaki, the $10 Tzatziki order, and a stick of Pork Souvlaki. As usual, they say 30 minute wait time. Arrived and still had to wait. Fine, usually the food makes up for the wait. Well. The Tzatziki is completely waterery. Omg so bad. The pork stick was cold cold cold. Obviously cooked 6 hours before. And the Salad was wilted with the Chicken the same as the Stick, cold. So sad. I waited more than 5 minutes and observed the guys in the kitchen doing BS and NOT cooking. Thry were complaining to the just as useless guy in front. This place used to be worth the wait. This is now last few times the order has been inedible; I came back thinking maybe they were having bad days. Unfortunately I now highly recommend you avoid this place. It has fallen as low as a place can get. The ingredients are good. The people actually working the place are not up to it. Avoid.

Lemon chicken soup is always the best from gyro station and the staff are both warm and welcoming too. My family and I love everything we have ever ordered from here, small hidden gem right by the glen head train station. We mostly grab food to go and bring it home, always perfectly packaged and always fresh.

Food was delicious. The chef was so kind, sweet and welcoming. If u love Greek food I definitely recommend this place. I will definitely return for a spinach pie. Gyro station also has a verity of vegetarian food. Which i absolutely love.

Gyro Station of Glen Head is seriously the best little spot in the neighborhood. I can’t get enough of their outdoor seating; it just adds a cozy vibe to the whole experience. And let me tell you, their chicken souvlaki is a game-changer. They go against the norm and use chicken thigh instead of boring old breast, and oh boy, it makes all the difference. The chicken is so dang juicy and tender, it practically melts in your mouth.

Just happened to be in the Glen Head area for a client, and on my way back on the LIRR, I was looking for a spot to grab a bite when G.maps guided me here. Super convenient to the platform heading west, and they have a great outdoor patio at the side of the building. This allows you to still keep the tracks in your line of sight. That said, since this was my first time here, I stuck to the basics. If a Gyro spot doesn’t get the gyro meat right… then why bother coming back? They nailed it!! They must be making their blend on site because this was one of the most delicious gyros I’ve ever had. I opted for a combination sandwich with gyro & pork souvlaki, no lettuce, and with BBQ sauce and spicy feta.
The pita was buttery, soft, warm, and delicious. The combination of onions, herbs, tomatoes, and sauce with the spicy feta was a taste explosion in my mouth. Will definitely be back next time I see my client, and will also make sure my train schedule allows for time to sit and enjoy my meal. #GoodEats #theresthatfoodie #LocalGem

Me and my family were in town to run errands in Sea Cliff and we got hungry. We discovered this place by chance and it was amazing. It’s very small but super cozy. The food was excellent and the owners were so nice. We had an amazing time and food. We will def go back!

I just had the Lunch Platter Special. WOW. It was delicious, abundant, and so fresh. Great value for the price. The girl at the counter put extra napkins and a fork, which was perfect because I needed and forgot to ask. Smooth pickup, in and out.
