Ordered Baja Salad with steak and was very disappointed with the amount of steak in the salad.
The salad had mostly lettuce with very little steak. This is very unfortunate and wrong since this plate is more pricey.
Management needs to retrain their staff and not be stingy with their food.
I would recommend the Baja Fresh in Westlake.

I got a grilled veggie burrito. the quality of the ingredients were pretty good. but it literally took 15 minutes from the time I ordered my food till I received it… and I was the only person in the store. I’ve never seen anyone roll a burrito more slowly.

So sad how the quality of this place has detereorated. Ordered Steak quesadilla with chips and salsa. They didn’t give me my extra salsa that should come with my dish. The salsa that ordered for my chips was half full, not to mention the very little amount of chips I received. The prices have gone up, portion, quality, flavor has gone down. Sad.

Eh, yay Baja? First time back in 10+ years, quite the change up, overall disappointing, especially for the price. Chicken was under seasoned (and used liquid smoke), chips were flat/unpleasant/sharp/under salted, salsas were all mild or barley a medium.

Maybe they don’t like their job, but then maybe the management should tune them up to make customers like going there.
Anyway food is good and it’s fast food so you aren’t dependent on servers.

Having just moved to Camarillo a couple months ago, I was pleased to stumble across a Baja Fresh. This particular Baja Fresh is a 5 star top notch franchise.
The staff is friendly and truly concerned about pleasing. This is a refreshing change compared to other Baja Freshes I’ve visited in the SF Valley these days. Food is cooked well, fresh, and the place is spotless.
I love the 6 pepper salsa (hot). My favorite is the Veggie Burrito. Note; It is somewhat hard to spot this place so look carrfully for it.

The cashier was rude and refused to take our order. She said they only had beans and rice, when the male cook kept telling her there was chicken and steak. When we decided to leave they were laughing. If they were in a hurry to leave home, I would think they should have been cleaning, I stead they were talking and laughing. would not recommend and this will be my first and last time going there.

Gave myself a year break from this spot to see if it improved with a new crew. Nope. Still the worst Baja Fresh I have ever been to. Too bad, because it’s the one in my neighborhood. They put together food like they don’t think people care what they eat. Many people must not care because they don’t seem to have a reason to get better. I said before that I would never go back and now I never will.
