We live just a few blocks away and finally stopped by **El Callejón del Beso** for lunch—and I’m so glad we did.
**Everything about our visit was on point.**
I had the arrachera with 3 eggs—simple, flavorful, and cooked just right. My wife ordered a plate of chilaquiles that *wasn’t even on the menu*—a special recommendation from our waitress. And let me tell you… she *loved* it. If you’re curious, just show the waitress a photo and ask for “the special.” You won’t regret it.
We also had **agua fresca**—mine was *pepino con limón*. It was **refreshing, light, and served in a beautiful glass *jarro*** that I’ve never seen in a restaurant before. That small touch? Made a big impression.
The dining area is cozy—maybe a few tables short for the buzz this place deserves—but you can sit comfortably. The owner mentioned plans to expand, and I think that’s a smart move. Because once word gets out, this place is going to be packed.
Above all, what stood out was the **warmth**. The owner is incredibly friendly and humble. It’s the kind of vibe you want when you’re enjoying a good meal.

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant, and everything from start to finish was great. The customer service was outstanding everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the queso birrias, which were full of flavor, perfectly cheesy, and cooked just right. They were easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. To top it off, the matcha horchata was incredible smooth, refreshing, and a unique twist that paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, the food, drinks, and service were all excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Mexican dining experience.

We had steak tacos, quesabirria , burgers and chicken tenders for the kids, fries and it was all good.
The salsa was good too!
The staff was very friendly and absolutely looked like they took pride in what they were doing.
The aguas frescas were good and so was the aguas de horchata.

My food and overall experience was very good. The chips and salsa were good. I’ve been here a couple times already, and the quesabirria was very delicious. The tacos Fritos con papa y queso was very good too.
The agua de horchata and pepino are delicious. The price point is reasonable and the service was quick and good.

Thru a FB post(ChidoChicago), I decided to give the place a shot! Callejon De Beso did not fall short, I had their Carne En Su Jugo with a Sprite. The Friendly food server, checked on me(Important)after I had tasted my soup. Definitely will recommend to others.

I’m a trucker so I love great flavorful food. And I have tried so many places. Today was my first time shopping here. And I love a great Birria and my god this place didn’t not fail the flavors of the food is so well balanced and delicious the chicken tacos are loaded. With meat and toppings again flavors thru out the rice and beans also. Red and green sauce is amazing I give this place a 10 out of 10. So good yummy and I will be back my new favorite spot for tacos and the customer service is so welcoming I love the vibe there real good authentic Mexican food
