They were busy but we didn’t have to wait long for a table. Service was very good and the restaurant looked clean.
Their menu has over 20 varieties of hamburgers to choose from. My wife had the meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and l had the cod fish and fries. We were pleased with our meals and will definitely be making a return trip to this restaurant.

Wonderful burgers with a plentiful variety. Steak on steak night was superb! Fries can’t be beat. Service the last two visits was excellent. Very personable owner.
May want to consider serving some of the saucy burgers on a plate.

Once we finally got our food (45 min after ordering) it was good. Loved my mushroom burger – husband got roast beef sandwich w/ potatoes & gravy, it wasn’t very hot. This was our 1st time there, had heard alot of good things about them. Doesn’t start your experience off well when you wait that long for food- we’ll probably go back & try it again sometime.

Excellent food and staff highly recommend!!! Owner is pleasant and spends time talking to his customers. Owner states they have standup comedy nights, which would be cool but cannot find any info. Try the buffalo burger, pizza, and onion rings.

We had the cod dinner that they serve on Friday evening. It was not fresh fish but it was still good. This place has a smaller menu but makes sense considering it’s a small town bat and grill. I do plan to go back and see what the rest of their food is like. Their onion rings are thinly cut and really good.

Was greeted and seated upon entering the Stampede.
The waiter was friendly and attentive, kept our drinks refilled at the perfect times. The onion rings were on fleek and not to be beat! My co-eater got the tenderloin and said it was great, it was even made with a real piece of meat! I got the “rarebit” burger special, it was a beef pattie on a bun that was then smothered in nacho cheese sauce! Delicious! Lots of great sounding burger options on the menu + salads, pizza & apps! I recommend you swing by and try them out!

Got a coupon in the mail for this place. The coupon said kitchen open daily from 11am-9pm. Never said anything about the hours. We drove 20 minutes to eat at this place (Monday) and when we got there a guy came out and I asked him if they are open yet. He said they were closed on Sundays and Mondays and they were shampooing the carpets. I told the guy that the flyer said it was open daily. He did not care or apologize. If this is how you treat customers then we will take our business elsewhere and in a small town like Prairie City you need all the business you can get.

I was truly shocked when I entered Stampede! It has an extremely nice and clean atmosphere. We split some appetizers with our dining companions and they were great. The onion rings we’re almost as good as The Checkerboard in Pleasantville! (A true compliment!)
I enjoyed their de Burgo hamburger which would rival the burgers from Zombie Burger. Everyone was extremely pleased with their dining experience. So, in conclusion, don’t let the old storefront of Stampede keep you away. An awesome meal and atmosphere is awaiting you through the front door!
