Fabulous new restaurant in the design district. Superb design, cozy despite the large scale, the food was exquisite, the staff uber friendly and attentive, the white burgundy French wine mineral and perfectly paired to our sea food small plates. The baba au rhum was over the top! I

Good food, excellent service, ok atmosphere. Chicken Pate was great, really nice with the strawberry, wish there were more toast. Snails were garlicky and buttery, nothing to hate. Lobster was great with kiwi and mango, really nice balance of flavors. Tuna was ok, passion fruit was nice. Halibut was fresh had a nice crunch from the greens. The vanilla ice cream was really rich and goes well with the tart tatin. My two critiques are the bread was a dry at the ends, probably cut in the morning and got a little dry; and the tart tatin should of been served warmer, the caramel was hard to cut through.

The chef hit it out of the ballpark again. An amazing restaurant with astonishing food. You can see that they paid attention to every detail, even the tableware is beautiful. Congratulations to the team. This is a new must-visit in San Francisco. Highly recommended.

Joujou is a great addition to the neighborhood. The menu is full of French classics with really fun twists. Had the spiny lobster salad, cod with pineapple, and the baba au rhum – easily the best version of the dessert I’ve had. Already planning my next visit.
