This place a part of this brand new TA Travel Center. The dinning area was clean and not load with crazy music. My food was a bit hot, that was a first at a truck stop. The staff here was especially friendly. Great job

We have waited for this place as we live just down the backroads from here and it was amazing. The staff were great and the food was hot and delicious. The other negative reviews on here need to give em a chance to get the routine down. We will be back here often. Moist fried chicken and the roasted chicken was delicious, the hot rolls were melt in your mouth good. We were very impressed compared to the other Chicken place in Decatur. Great job guys you’re doing awesome.

I did an online order a few days ahead for Christmas eve. When I arrived they apologized that there would be a 7 minute wait. I didn’t care. They were so friendly and despite business picking up while trying to fulfill my order, they were so sweet to everyone they encountered. My new favourite chicken place in Wise County.

The food was decent and fresh, pretty much what you would expect from a fast food fried chicken place, but the SERVICE was next level. Everyone was so personable, friendly and polite.
We had an issue with a missing piece of chicken (mistakes happen) and they went above and beyond to make it right for us!!
Also, don’t forget to ask for the zing seasoning packets! Soooo good.

We walked in and immediately Jason greeted us and asked us how he could help. We haven’t been to GC in a while so we had no idea. Jason was so helpful and took the time to tell us about different deals and which deals would work best for what we wanted. He was so incredibly nice and it’s a rare occurrence these days to meet someone so eager to help a stranger/customer. This guy needs a raise! Or at least some recognition! He left an impression in my mind that’s for sure!

I am a truck driver so returning to the store was impossible. I ordered food 2 thighs, 2 legs family potatoes and family coleslaw. Checked my receipt looked good. Got my order and left. When I stopped to eat they put one leg and one thigh family potatoes and a small coleslaw. Double checked my receipt. Got charged for what I ordered but didn’t get it. Kids today wants professional pay for lazy work ethics

We stopped by after church—hallelujah, no line! The food came out fresh- Fried Chicken Salad, chicken tenders, coleslaw, fries and rolls were amazing! Catfish takes 8 minutes, but hey, patience tastes delicious! The staff was friendly and courteous.
Pro tip: order the catfish, pray for patience, and thank me later.

I was in your restaurant recently and it had been my first time there. I needed to order a really large order and wasn’t sure what my options would be. The employee that was helping me, her name was Jack. She was hilarious and very helpful. She went through all the larger packages that are offered and everything that comes with it. I got everything that I needed, and she made sure everything was in my bags and packaged it very carefully. She even put my breasts in different boxes so that they didn’t get smashed. She said she doesn’t like it when her food is squished, which I appreciated very much. Also, all the cold stuff was together, which I appreciated that as well. Nothing spilled on the way to my destination and the food was amazing, so thank you for this experience. I will definitely be back!!
