Another first class meal with everything tasting very good indeed. I marked atmosphere down a bit simply because there were no other guests, even at 7pm on a Saturday night. It doesn’t make sense, given how good this place is. I was told it gets busier later.

Despite the food being quite delicious the service from one particular waiter was absolutely awful, literally slammed our food down on the table, 0 conversational skills as you would think would be standard in any form of hospitality setting, made myself & friend I was dining with feel very uncomfortable, I would not recommend female only diners to eat here.
Will not be recommending this restaurant to any of our friends, such a shame!

If I could give it a zero I would. A group of us came in late on Saturday. Knowing we’ve had a drink they tried to add on £100 to our bill. Then claim they weren’t very good at adding up. Avoid at all costs.

Upon entering the shop, we were met with unfriendly stares, almost as if they assumed we weren’t “rich enough” to be there. Instead of welcoming us to take a seat, they rudely instructed us to look at the menu first. We also overheard them making comments about us, which was quite unsettling. To top it off, they interrupted us mid-conversation to inform us that we could only dine in if we were ordering a main course. Since when can’t customers choose what they want to eat? This was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I strongly suggest your staff receive proper training.

Great food meat was Lovley and tender, food was outstanding and our service was also outstanding our server Abdul was great and very polite and helpful couldn’t ask for better food and great service, would highly recommend this restaurant

This is apparently one of the longest serving restaurants in St Albans. It is certainly one in which you wait longest to be served. I have been brought food in other places in less time than it took them to take my order. I was not brought items I ordered. I was brought food without cutlery leaving it to get cold while I tried to attract the waiters’ attention again. Worst of all, while I was waiting for the toilet, a man stuck his head out and said; “Please tell them there’s no toilet paper”, not conducive to a good appetite. The sad thing is the food is really good. The chefs seem to want us to have a good time but they appear to be fighting a losing battle with the waiters.

Just had a curry had to throw it all away it was rotten the lamb was hard and a disgusting taste I will never get a curry from there again
