This place is quick, close, and for most a flavor bonanza. Plenty of seating under cover. However, this location is treasure chest of foods focused on the southeast region of the U.S., variety and spicy flavor are the focus of these great chefs.
Lots of Seafood menu items just for your palate, most meals cover the whole plate.
Want it special, just ask and they will do their best to provide what you want.
This is for Southern tastes, if this what your looking for go for it, just not on Sunday.

Tried this place on way to airport because I was in the mood for a po boy. It did not disappoint. I wanted shrimp but ordered catfish because on one menu it didn’t show shrimp (it had shrimp on a menu closer to the window). Regardless, it was a really good po boy. It was cooked fresh to order. Menu is not clear but friendly and a drink came with it. The breading on the fish was nice and crispy and seasoned well. Same with fries. $12 for a po boys, fries, and a lemonade…wow! The people there were also very nice. Hope to come back for my shrimp and to try other things, and I hope you guys give it a try also.

Got a boudain (forgive my spelling) and seafood Gumbo. The boudain was good and the Gumbo was ok, it had a little too much allspice for my liking.
Definitely did NOT like having to use the porta potty, but I was glad they had something.

Love love love this seafood spot!!! I go at least once a week! I crave the shrimp n crawfish♥️ They are decent size crawfish, flavor through and through! Cash only and tip them well! You can taste the love in their food!

Let me tell yall something! This place is EVERYTHANG! Mr Briggs customer service was A1! The food was EXCEPTIONAL! The seasoning, TOP TIER! I’ve had my fair share of seafood, and ABSOLUTELY no other place compares to The Seafood Man Shack! If you’re looking for some delicious fried fish, gumbo and seafood at a fraction of the price of those other places who’s seafood is barely seasoned and overcooked, do yourself a favor, and stop by here! Ohh and be sure to get you some Banana Pudding and Kool-Aid! #ChefsKiss

Great experience, love the fact they go the extra mile and think of the little things like adding a soup spoon for the Gumbo and including rice and crackers when you order Gumbo. I highly recommend this start up seafood kitchen.

I’m in love!! The turkey patties need to be sold in a grocery store. The Gumbo Feels Like Home. And the Crab Legs are worth every penny. It’s a Gem! I can’t stress it enough, even the fish plate was off the chain.

I came upon this place around 5:15pm on a Wednesday. Ma was craving some seafood and we don’t know any decent places that serve good seafood consistently. I ordered a fish and shrimp combo (3fish,6shrimp) and also two (very large) boudin sausage. It also came with two drinks. Fruit punch koolaid was the choice for drinks.
The total came to $31. This establishment is cash only for the moment but told to be working on other forms of payment. We waited in the car and the food was brought out to us in a timely manner. The food service was speedy and the portions were large.
The fish/shrimp were battered in the classic cornmeal formula we Southerners love. Excellently spiced. The boudin was also great.
The koolaid drinks were on the Southern-level amount of sugar to give you that twang everyone wants with their seafood.
Mother approved of her food so this place is now on our radar for the next seafood craving. We will be visiting again!

My second time here and it never disappoints. Pork chops and seafood are amazing . First time trying the gumbo and I must say the reviews are right this Gumbo is so dang good. I believe they do have okra in the gumbo i can’t see it cuz they cook it down so well but I can taste the difference because I’m one that does not prefer okra but it is still really delicious.
