For a tiny little Japanese restaurant, this place sure packs a punch, the service was great & their meals are packed with authentic flavours.
Came in off the street & they fitted us in comfortably & quickly.

Unexpectedly good Japanese food in Ocean Shores. We were recommended by a local and Sabi Sushi didn’t disappoint. Most of the chefs were Japanese, sashimi was fresh and the serving sizes were generous.

Overpriced and not fresh. Went to Sabi to get some sushi. Was shocked at the price, $14 for a tempura salmon roll… which was stale and soggy, no crunch. Rice was undercooked. For the price they are asking this is not a good spend. I nearly went to get my money back but I know to never go to this place as there are many good Japanese spots around the shire. I will tell everyone not to go here.

It looks good in the photo, but the taste is very average. The main reason we didn’t like the dishes is that the rice in sushi and bowl was overcooked and it didn’t taste as good as Japanese food should be. However we enjoyed that poke ball had a big portion of kingfish- that was good

I will have been reluctant to eat at wabi Sabi because the prices seem so high, but this afternoon I sucked it up because I was peckish. I ordered a seven dollar bowl of garlic Edamame.
The bowl was pretty small and they used garlic powder and not fresh garlic!
It’s bad enough when people use jar garlic but garlic powder?!
It was crusted on and served without salt?!
What restaurant worth its weight in salt would use garlic powder with NO salt on a small bowl of seven dollar Edamame?
I couldn’t finish the and left hungry AND annoyed.

We came here last night for my daughter’s birthday. She had visited a week or so ago and loved your little restaurant. It was so busy last night which is great but we had to wait a little for food*(Which was no problem as we could see how busy it was). The food did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and had a beautiful manner and smiles. Thanks for a lovely night. We came down from Brisbane.
