The toasted yolk was truly a five star experience. There is a reason I only went 4 and I will explain that later. For food they were very good. The service was very good also my waitress continuously checked on us and provided great service. All the employees were very happy upbeat and seemingly very customer oriented. The atmosphere was nice and the whole facility was newly built from the ground up. The seating was very soft new and large as well as comfortable. They have seven televisions including the one on the outdoor patio area. They also have a bar. They specialize in breakfast brunch and lunch. The only downside is not totally their fault when you consider inflation. The pricing adds up quick as the menu seems to be split into a la carte and more combo friendly options but for two combo items and one a la carte entree and soft drinks added for 3 people my ticket came up to 73.17. going purely a la carte no sides and only adding drinks you would easily be at about 40 to 50 dollars give or take. So in conclusion it is a great place to eat or treat yourself too just be ready to pay a bit though I don’t think you will in any way be disappointed.

Just to start – probably the worst coffee in the entire state. You can’t have a breakfast spot with terrible coffee! Three attempts later and we figured the coffee is basically water. Food wasn’t great but wasn’t the worst I’ve had- but for the price it isn’t worth coming back to eat there. The service was the highlight of the day- it’s absolutely great but unless they get better with the food it’s definitely not worth the experience

First time trying the toasted Yolk Cafe I had a great experience. Ms Teresa was my waiter she was super friendly, she asked did I need refills or can she help me with anything else . I told her I’m definitely coming back the food was excellent. I got the shrimp ad grits with added egg and pancake. The pancake was so delicious and the syrup was warm. The environment was clean and nice. Highly recommended tell Ms Teresa Tim sent you.

I’m giving them two stars solely for the niceness of the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant. If it was based off of the food alone, it would be zero stars.
We started off with them being out of chocolate milk and the espresso machine was broken. No big deal, we pivoted our drink order. When our food came out, everything other than the toast was cold. Like literally cold; no warmth. The queso, cheese on the eggs, and gravy on the chicken fried steak were solidified. The couple bites I took of the vegetable scramble severely lacked flavor. The hash brown casserole did have one flavor—an overwhelming amount of black pepper. I’m really not sure how they got so much black pepper flavor into it, because it didn’t visually look like it had that much pepper in it. The breading on the chicken fried steak was burnt, and the actual meat was flavorless with an odd texture. Half of the bacon was burnt. The fresh fruit and toast were good.
When leaving the restaurant, we noticed a grand opening sign and assumed that explained the low quality food. The Toasted Yolk has a lot of potential, but the kitchen has a lot of kinks to work out.

Had the chicken country fried steak(beef) and it pretty good. We also had the kids 2 pancakes with bacon and let me say the pancakes were huge! They were a bit crumbly but my son ate them just fine. I would eat here again.

A new restaurant in town—yay! Toasted Yolk was bustling with guests. The place was clean, the waitstaff friendly, and the menu had some great selections. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits (no cilantro). While the dish looked a bit beige, it was packed with flavor. The only thing I’d improve is the service turnaround time. Since I only have an hour for lunch, including drive time, this spot is better suited for a weekend or day off when I can relax and enjoy without watching the clock.
