My husband swears by the black bean noodles, but he wouldn’t let me take its picture. I, on the other hand, love the spring rolls and chicken pho. The staff is attentive and friendly. This place is POPULAR! And for good reason. You may arrive when its either very busy or dead. Take your chances. The pho will lift your spirits to the high heavens. Feeling down? Order a pho. Got the flu? Order the chicken pho. You won’t be disappointed.

Went in on a quiet and slow day. We were greeted and seated promptly. The lady who helped us did everything from greeting to checking us out. She was kind and got us everything we asked for. We ordered two pho bowls with beef brisket. It was very good! Very clean place as well. Thank you for a nice first-time experience here

I had some great tasting Vietnamese dishes here. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. It’s not a “fancy” place but I have never been disappointed. They offer a buy 2 get 1 free on the Bahn mi and buy 1 get 1 free on the milk teas. Sometimes you just want a good meal at a good price and this place does not let you down .

Hungry for pho’ don’t come here, no greeting when we walked in but when Asians walked in they greeted them, bring your own spoon, cooked on greased soup spoons were given to us so I scurried across the hall for new ones, Thai tea was practically translucent but their spring rolls were delicious tho, oh! the pho’ did come with extra protein hence the picture. Mad dog looks from the kitchen staff when I asked for a new thai tea, it too came with a little extra! Watch out!!

Left a cash tip & then later noticed they adjusted my card payment to be $20 more, I called & asked why and they said it was because they didnt process the tip. I told them I left it in cash, they responded like they do that often (add tips to stuff afterwards) & they’d return the extra payment they took. Its been a while, never got refunded. Dont leave any cash tips or you’ll get double charged.

I LOVE jjambbong. It is truly rare to find a place that does it right.
The key ingredient missing in so many of these restaurants is this:
Smoky/burnt flavor from the hot fire to grill the seafood and the vegetables.
This place has it! This is the only one of two places in all of Los Angeles AND Orange County that I found, which is really strange to me, tbh. Jjambbong without this isn’t jjambbong.
Will be back for more, for sure.

Flavorful vegan options. The vegan pho & vegan black bean sauce noodles are a must try.

Don’t order the pho I guess. Compared to what I’m used to it was a let down though the other dishes I saw the other patrons eating looked good

I had the chicken pho it was okay. Large portion and the Thai tea was very sweet. They offer 2 hours of free parking if you validate your ticket.

Clean and not too busy during lunch time. I gave two stars because the food was not that great and they give little meat compared to other pho places. It was not appetizing and I got a stomach ache afterwards. I have tried other pho places and I have never gotten a stomach after eating. I will definitely not be coming back to this location.
