What a find! Small restaurant with big flavor and great service. The decor is awesome! We had the guacamole and it was oh so good. Chunky and flavorful like it should be. I had the Birria tacos. They were some of the best I’ve had. My daughter had combination 2. She told me the flavors were great.

This locally owned gem is a must try! It’s right off of Platt Springs Rd in West Columbia. Esmeralda is the beautiful face that you’ll likely see when you’re there. Her parents are the owners. Their produce is hand-selected from the local Farmer’s Market and the bread is delivered fresh daily and it is GOOD! They have a yummy salsa bar that has lots of house-made offerings. My favorite is the mild green salsa. It’s good on EVERYTHING. They also have fresh cut peaches & watermelon on the salsa bar so you can have a little FRESH sweet bite at the end of your meal. I think that should be the take-away word if you retain nothing else I say. FRESH.

Was in the area for a business trip and this was highly rated for the area. So very glad we stopped for lunch. As a Cali native, this place felt like home. REAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN. The waitress was so nice, the restaurant was clean and very inviting. The menu has all the typical classics for Mexican cuisine, but done right. Huge portions, amazing and simple flavors. Their street tacos were the star for us, but the Cali fries was so good!!! I placed an order for the road, knowing I don’t have this back home. I’ll be back again!

Been looking for a Mexican restaurant since I moved here about two years ago From Southern California and this is the first place that I believe has the best Mexican food around. Ordered the Asada fries are amazing. I just switched out the cheese sauce for shredded cheese and it was delicious. Ordered Asada and El Pastore tacos were my favorite. I believe this is the most authentic Mexican food in South Carolina. This is my go to spot now.

the food was so incredible i forgot to even take a picture before we dove in! the service was amazing, everyone checked in on us and our server was so sweet. i got a frozen mango margarita and it was delicious. the staff had great recommendations if you’ve never been. we will definitely be back.

We’re from Atlanta, and still trying to find our “hole in the wall” Mexican restaurant that serves authentic MX food. And y’all, we’ve found our spot! Clean, super friendly staff, the food was delicious, and the prices are right!!
We popped in midday Saturday, wasn’t packed and busy, but a nice little crowd. The two young women working the restaurant floor held it down, nicely. Super attentive, and worked the tables well, without seemingly getting overwhelmed or without leaving any one table waiting for any sort of service. I was really impressed with that.
Anyway, the food was amazing. My man ordered sopas. They were handmade! (Unlike another place we had tried the previous week). And was topped generously, and steak was flavorful. Me, I ordered the burrito, chicken. And it was also very good. Guac inside the burrito had a nice citrus flavor, and everything was well seasoned and portions were good.
10/10, will be back, would recommend.

Went to have dinner here tonight with a friend. Never tried it before but knew about it. Said what the heck. Let me tell you! The tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Service was amazing. Gave 3 starts for atmosphere just because they were doing some repairs to the beer taps. Definitely recommend trying this hidden gem!!!

Good, little family restaurant. Service was friendly and quick, we were the only ones there when we arrived, but the young ladies seemed attentive to everyone. The food was tasty. We had the Asada, Al Pastor and Shrimp tacos, all flavorful, but could use a little salt. They were out of the Lengua, but I’ll be back to try. The salsa bar was very nice and included fruit. All in all we’ll return, with a jacket because I was freezing.
