Thank you Chesters Chicken for your warm and friendly services. Great prices and quick service. Food was hot and delicious. Back in Ohio we would get the chicken and wedges ( we called called JoJo’s) out here you added a soft warm biscuit with I think honey on top , Omg melts right in your mouth. Keep up the Southern hospitality. Sorry we scared the cashier with the Alligator story . Be Blessed and safe.

First time stopping into a Chester’s chicken before and we saw this one connected to a gas station while on our way to Pensacola. Wanted to try the chicken sandwiches but the first thing that threw me off was everything was under heat lamps and nothing is fixed to order…
The guy at the register was really friendly and helpful. The chicken sandwiches were subpar imo. If this is how all the Chester’s are it’ll be a big no from me always.

The nicest ladies were behind that counter on my drive into Louisiana. Such a country pleasure. I was in and out with my tenders and wedges in less than 5 minutes it seemed like but, they were so sweet. Even doubled me up on dipped sauces for no charge. Great white meat tenders for cheap and good kind country smiles. Can’t beat it.

Staff unable to keep up with the work load. Expect people to wait forever. Staff appears lazy but manager tries to make up for it with excuses. But, my pictures tell the story of no product to sell. People was walking out disgusted not being able to be served.

I came in Sunday afternoon after a long drive from Florida and encountered the best greeting and fried liver ever. The cook who so nice said she just changed everything over for the next shift and ensured me everything was fresh.And oh yes it was Mrs. Tc Chester’s should cherish you,it’s hard to find decent workers these days and from the looks of it she loves what she do the food tells it all good luck young lady may God bless your beautiful heart.

I don’t know why I even bother to stop and eat your chicken, I mean, Chicken was alright, but for the time that I came in, your food is supposed to be hot, not Luke warm, and if your Chicken is soft and tender how is it that your chicken bites are as hard as chewing gum couldn’t even finish them , and this is basically at all of your locations , P.S. at least bring back your Jalapeños that gives a better taste to what we’re eating. Overall Service outstanding but food is not so great

Of all the Chester’s Chicken I’ve ever been to…and I’ve been to alot of them due to my job, I had never been greeted and attended with such joy and friendliness.
Cynthia Clark at the Gulfport MS. restaurant in the Love’s Truck Stop is a highly motivated employee and a valuable asset to this restaurant. She made sure to draw me in as I was headed into the restaurant right next advising me she had fresh chicken and sides ready to be served.
Not just the food but her enthusiasm displayed convinced me I should consume their product which I will say was the best served so far out of all of Chester’s I’ve been to.
May she continue to be the brightness in this place and may she rise within this company’s totem pole to the highest level.

Finally decided to give this place a shot and was not disappointed. Service was friendly and I was very happy with the food. Got the 8-piece family meal and everything was cooked right and delicious. LOTS of food for the price. Chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Best biscuits I’ve ever had. And I’m an okra fiend so the fact they even have it as a side option is a huge plus for me.
My ONLY minor gripe was they lacked some sides being readily available as, from what I understand, a piece of equipment wasn’t working or not working properly and it was taking them longer to make some sides. But I chose not to take a star away for it as I know some things can’t be helped and I didn’t want detract from my rating since I was still very happy with the food and service I did get. This is my new favorite chicken restaurant and I will be returning for sure!
