I love my sandwiches and Wicked Chef didn’t disappoint.

It was so fresh and delicious. My wife loved hers as well.

People running the place are super friendly as well.

I live close to 30 mins away, but my wife and I decided it’s def worth the trip given the quality of food.

My mouth is watering thinking about it right now.

Try the Kresge.

I surprised my wife with a “leaf peeping” trip to Pennsylvania. After arriving in Philly from Austin, we started for North PA. On the way, I researched restaurants and found a gem.

Folks, no BS! This place has phenomenal food and incredibly, loving ownership. After my wife and I enhaled the Kresge sandwich and homemade pickles as well as a side of homemade baked beans, we gorged ourselves on a helping of the best potato pancakes and HOMEMADE apple sauce that I have ever experienced. It was almost like eating dessert and brought me back to my childhood when my Czech grandma would make them. These were exponentially better, sorry Grandma Millie.

While finishing up our food, we engaged in conversation with Georgian, who owns the restaurant with her husband, John. My wife and I felt like we were talking to a friend of 25 years. It was real conversation from a genuine person.

I snapped a photo of a framed article written about their business in January 2020, just before COVID, which the restaurant, unfortunately, did not survive. Now, they are back with a vengeance! I whole heartedly recommend and support this mom and pop restaurant. Truly, it’s a no brainer when the ownership is genuine, and the food is outstanding.

First time there this week & I’ll definitely return! The potato pancakes were perfect! Crispy outside & soft deliciousness inside. A nice generous portion & the homemade applesauce was delicious! My cousin had The Poban & it was a generous, delicious sandwich. They offer a punch card for the potato pancakes & then get a free serving after 10 punches I’m excited to return & try another sandwich & more potato pancakes!

Wow!!! Twisted Chicken is the Best Sandwich I have had in a long while. This place is incredible. The owner REALLY cares about your experience. The ingredients are well thought out and well sourced. Not your typical Lettuce, Tomato and Onion situation. The Roasted Tomato exploded with flavor, melting together with the Blue Cheese Crumbles (that were very good, and I can go either way with Blue cheese). Arugula is always good. And the Fried Chicken itself was divine. They marinate it in hot sauce before Frying it. It was so tender and delicious. Definitely the best fried chicken sandwich I have had in years and years. The coleslaw was no joke either. Very creamy and thick.
Go try this place. Kind of weird to get to the strip mall, but very much worth it. Then post your visit and let us know what you tried. Looking forward to my next visit.

Total hidden gem! We stopped here during a road trip and WOW – what a lucky find! I’m not usually a sandwich person, but this place completely won me over.
I had the chicken and portobello sandwich – juicy, flavorful, nicely cooked! The coleslaw was the best I ever had, not typical sweet slop, but crisp and tasted homemade. The potato pancakes were exactly like my grandpa used to cook for me.
The vibe is nice, the place is clean, the service is welcoming, and you can feel the owner and the chef put real love into their food.
If you’re somewhere near Allentown, make the stop, this place worth it.

Tried The Wicked Chef for the first time a couple months ago. We ordered the Fat Sully sandwich, The Mojo sandwich, and an order of the potato pancakes. The food was fresh and delicious, the ciabatta roll held up well for the heft of the sandwich and the slaw on the side was well dressed. The potato pancakes were really good, and were a very good portion for two people to split. Would definitely order all these items again.

This is one of those “ I can’t wait to go back” places. If slapping some cold cuts on a piece of bread with a smear of mayo is your idea of a great sandwich, this is NOT your place. Each sandwich, each component is crafted with passion. The twisted chicken was not overly spicy, so don’t be hesitant to try it. I finished it for dinner.
The schantz was a moist delicious pulled pork creation. If you’re ever been subjected to a dry pulled pork sandwich, you will appreciate the savory texture of this flavorful beast.
The potato pancakes were the best part, however. Crisp shredded potatoes spiced delicately with a touch of onion are without a doubt the best in the Lehigh Valley. One of us is a polish chef, and this passed with flying colors.

Plenty of parking. There are tables inside although all food is prepared for takeout, which is a good thing, because after the potato pancakes, I couldn’t finish the sandwich, so I closed the lid and I was on my way. There are bathrooms and the facility is clean.

A welcome island in a sea of mediocrity

I stopped in for lunch Saturday, plenty of parking and no wait to order my food. The Mojo was particularly good and filling, and the beans were quite sweet and delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Ordering catering-size Meatballs and Chicken Parm today from The Wicked Chef elevated our school’s Annual Staff Holiday Luncheon event to a new level. Generous portions of both dishes were picked up by a volunteer in the morning, and stayed hot and fresh through all teacher lunches after 2pm. The chicken and meatballs were delicious, and covered with the right amount of sauce to make an impression (we try to make it a special event for the teachers!) The serving trays were garnished with pepperoncini peppers, the owner provided extra side dishes of peppers and parmesan cheese. You could tell the order itself was neatly packaged in high quality, yet disposable, serving dishes. Food was delicious and teachers loved it!! It was affordable for our PTO (public school, volunteer based, not-for-profit), and we know the owner threw in extra for us knowing it was going to people in his community. THANK YOU WICKED CHEF!!
