It was my first visit to Sadie’s. As you walk inside, you will enjoy the old fasioned charm, unique furniture and decor. The menu offers many options that all sound delicious. Sadie and her staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. I decided on the egg salad on rye. It was so good and a huge sandwich too. I couldn’t leave without trying one of their baked goods as well. Next time I want to try the chicken salad sandwich. Thanks so much for the great service!

Interesting experience when you first enter Sadie’s. The furniture looks antique and the dining area is spread across several rooms – when you enter you are on a veranda. You can eat on this veranda. It is screened in and on a beautiful day like this day everything was perfect. Just a slight breeze and a little cooler than usual. Beautiful place to eat. The food tastes delicious both inside and out. I came early one day and got to talk to the two women who were running the place. I did not ask if someone was Sadie. The menu is written up on a board on the side of the wall. I had no trouble finding something I liked. It was hard because I liked everything. And it was delicious. I had crab and corn soup and a chicken BLT on a croissant. Nice large portions. The prices are not cheap but are reasonable. Most definitely check the hours for this restaurant and give it a try.

If you are in the Crystal River area and hungry for lunch, look no further than Sadie’s Corner Kitchen. We stopped in on a whim after our manatee tour and WOW this place did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal, the staff felt like family, and the atmosphere was homey and inviting. The gorgeous China dishes and eclectic vibe reminded me of having lunch at Grandma’s. If I could give Sadie’s 10 stars I would! Thank you for a wonderful experience 🙂

This is small home style restaurant located near Crystal River. The food is really good and the menu changes on a regular basis. I ordered the “Club Sandwich” which was more than $10.00 but the size of the sandwich is decent. The best part of the sandwich was the crispy bacon which was complementing the sandwich really well. The place also makes a lot of different cookies and cakes. We were also provided with complelementary cookies at the end of lunch. If you are around “Three Sisters Springs” would definitely recommend to check this place out.

Wonderful baked goods, salads and sandwiches served in a charming atmosphere that feels like you’ve come to Grandma’s house for lunch. I was a bit disoriented when I first walked in as it felt like we had stepped into the dining room of a private residence. But the chalkboard menu gave us the confidence to step in and order some delicious sandwiches and baked goods. This is a must stop if you’re in Crystal River!

What a quaint place! We ordered and dined in. The two gals behind the counter were moderately friendly. I had the chicken salad which was very good. On a fresh croissant.
( the chicken salad was room temperature- which worried me a bit being mayo based) and Italian wedding soup which was ok, kind of oily, but ok.
My one friend got the club sandwich on texas toast!! GI-normous and to her liking.
They have an incredible array of sweets, cookies, muffins, etc. everything is a la cart. $$$

Out of towner review:
Like you’re going over to Grandma’s or Ma’s house, you’ll be welcomed with scratch kitchen delights in a beautiful local home. The homemade food was incredible, especially the Chicken Salad sandwich, feta and cheese puff pastry, and the broccoli cheddar soup. On site baked croissants and other pastries were also a delight. The staff were very sweet and accommodating, and you couldn’t help but appreciate their southern charm and sass.
Overall, I highly recommend checking out Sadie’s Corner Kitchen. I look forward to coming back and stopping by there again.

Delicious! Might be the best caprese sandwich I’ve ever had, something about juicy tomatoes and pesto, yum! We got some oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies too, massive and perfectly baked!!

Really cute place. Great ambiance and homey feel…especially since it’s in an old Crystal River home. Seating inside and in the screened in porch area(although very hot during summer). Very relaxing and comforting environment. Family friendly and clean. Food was excellent. I had a Monte Cristo sandwich and my son had a turkey sandwich on a croissant. They had a great and delicious looking dessert counter. We were too full so we didn’t eat any. Homemade soup looked really good but didn’t get any because they’d just ran out. Definitely a spot to go get yourself some lunch!
