This is very atmospheric diner located right on the edge of Greenwood Lake Airport. You can easily spot it right next to iconic Lockheed Tristar Constellation plane that turned to the office of skydiving operations. The diner is regular aviation themed restaurant from the first look, but looks can be very deceptive. Once you open their menue, you will be pleasantly surprised on the amount and variety of dishes that they serve. Besides they have seasonal specials. That makes them more than family restaurant rather than a diner. I have tried their seasonal pulled pork with sweet potato and 3 sunny side up, and it was delicious. Be aware of the size of their portions, it is really hefty. Also I really enjoyed their pumpkin coffee. Definitely get on top of the list of my breakfast destinations to fly. If you a pilot, check this place, runaway 24 is a bit tricky to land especially if you’re not familiar with the area, but it totally worth it.

This little gem is a place everyone should visit. We got breakfast for lunch, amazing!
We ordered the slider special with eggs and cheese and bacon, and then the Napoleon French toast.
The presentation was great. I didn’t take a picture because we were so hungry. We dove right into the our meal! Not a whole lot left.

I don’t know what even made me think of this place—I live a good 40 minutes away. Maybe it was because I had Jungle Habitat on my mind, which used to be just next door. Anyway, around 5 PM I hit the road and headed up to Greenwood Lake Airport to snap a few pics and check out the diner.
Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting something run down and old-fashioned—maybe even a little spooky—with one waitress and me as the only customer. Nope. The diner was bright, clean, and welcoming, with a handful of folks in the booths lining the walls. I had a great waitress, ordered a coffee and a cheesesteak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and everything was delicious. The price? Totally reasonable, especially these days when even a basic meal can cost a small fortune.
Definitely keeping this place in mind the next time I’m in the mood for a solid diner meal. The planes outside was an extra treat!

The quality is there as well as the quantity and I hope they have great success in the coming years and I will definitely be returning!!!!

Cool little diner on airport grounds. Never knew it existed. Stopped for a burger while out for a motorcycle ride.
Parking: Not bad. Small lot with about 20 parking spots
Food: Had a burger with sautéed onions. The onions were great and the burger, although cooked through, was not dry.
Staff: Very nice and attentive
Definitely going back with my kid next time we go for a ride in the area
