Tom
i enjoyed the clam chowder. good consistency and great flavor.

oysters were very poorly cleaned and poorly shucked. bits of shell and debris all over the shells and inside as well. really ruined my appetite to have to spit bits out every time. vinegar sauce is too watered down.

the fish is ok but the batter falls right off as soon as you take a bite or try to cut it. not as crispy as i would like and kinda squishy, especially on the shrimp. the chips were a bit undercooked and soft.

prices are okay, but execution is sub par. i’d come back, but only for the clam chowder.

Dave is one of the Main Staff here. Elderly guy but great service cheerful made
Us feel very welcomed on a busy Sunday. Tom the Owner is a super guy who hires locals. The batter is not too oily and they definitely change the oil as it was fresh. Good Family Dinner Feeling. For couples recommend the Mr Fish Combo 2 Cod, 2 Shrimp and Calamari was perfect. Grab a beer and enjoy

Want to Seattle for the Niner game. On our way out of town we stopped at Pike’s place. Been there before and loved it. This is the first time we’ve eaten at this restaurant, but it won’t be the last time. Service was exceptional in the food was some of the best we’ve eaten in Seattle. Clam chowder was awesome. Fish and chips plate was absolutely delicious. Both the service in the way to were very inviting and took very good care of us. Thank you and will be back!

Located at the North end of the Pike Market Place, Mr. Fish Chips & Chowder is a quaint restaurant that serves fresh seafood. After 5 PM it is one of the very few eateries that stays open until 7 PM. I had the fish and chips which are three medium sized fillets and French fries. The fish is very fresh and comes battered. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and fries. We each enjoyed our meal. For those who indulge in shellfish and fresh catches Mr. Fish is a great place to eat. Our waiter was very attentive and we had a brief conversation about the latest Mariners game. The atmosphere is fun and friendly with a full bar as well as small tables inside and a large outdoor terrace for those who prefer to eat al fresco.

This is a seafood restaurant near Pike’s Market. The menu was quite limited. Service was very nice and friendly.

* The Mr. Fish Combo 3/5 – Fries were dense and had a strong flavor. Maybe it was the type of potato used. The fish and shrimps were alright. The calamari was better.

* Smoked Seafood Chowder 3/5 – Tasted okay. The tomato flavor was pretty overwhelming. Wish they had a standard New England clam chowder.

Locals trying out a tourist spot. We had some servers mixed up so didn’t get serve for a while. Chowder was good. Fish and chips are tasty but slightly more brown than golden (apparently that’s how they normally do it judging by other photos).

The big guy-server has gotta be one of the best service providers I’ve ever met. He was nice, accommodating and feels genuine. The chowder soup was a hit. The fish was fresh. Fries well seasoned.

Service was kind, attentive and fast. We both ordered the King of the Sea plate, and were pleasantly surprised by it. It can get expensive pretty fast, tho. And the oysters, whilst cheap (happy hour $2 p/c) weren’t really nice.

Overall, we did enjoy it, and would recommend stopping by (:

The clam chowder was delicious. The fish and chips were ok. The french fries were soggy/greasy. The waitress who sat us seemed annoyed with us when we asked to sit near the TV to watch the football game.
