Great food and super friendly staff!!
Cute little place with a Cozy atmosphere and lovely outside seating
Sliders, gumbo, tacos and quesadillas were amazing
Added bonus: they are pet friendly INSIDE and OUTSIDE!
Prices SEEM high if you’re a first timer but once you see the amount of food on your plate, you’ll understand. They have lunch specials under $10 from 11-2 that are perfect if you want great food while on a budget.
I very highly suggest Pyre if you haven’t checked them out already ☺️

This is a fantastic barbecue joint. You are not gonna find anything better on the North Shore. I went to get ribs and they were out, which, if you know anything about barbecue is a good thing. That means that they are smoking up the ribs and then selling out that day, which means you’re not getting leftovers or old stuff from the previous day. Any BBQ enthusiast will tell you that if you go to a barbecue place late in the day and they’ve sold out of a main dish, it’s probably a really good barbecue joint. This is the case at the Pyre. Since they were out of ribs, I got the pulled pork and I must say it was absolutely great. (I have had their ribs in the past and they are also delicious). Their sides are exceptional. The place is clean. It’s a fun place to hang out at, with a nice bar and a super friendly staff. Great food and a great atmosphere, you can’t really ask for much more than that, but the Pyre gives more by flying both the American flag and a Marine Corps flag out front. So great food, great atmosphere, and they are patriotic, I wish I could give them six stars.

Sorry guys, the Food was a major let down. Onion rings were soaked in oil. Chicken was super dry. Brisket, was an up charge & we had to send it back because it was inedible. The beans were straight from a can. The sweet tea was horrible and had to be swapped for a fountain drink. There were fly’s everywhere. There was a very loud group that made things even worst… For over $60 it was pitiful. Dickey’s delivers superior BBQ for a fraction of the cost…

We enjoyed the visit… A very community driven area, especially on Saturday! The farmer’s market is across the street.
There are three BBQ sauces. original, spices and white.
Had the two meat plate, with ribs and brisket, a side of pit beans and greens. Only critique was that there was not much of a smoke ring on the brisket also the rib and brisket were just over the moist point for the outer bark. The flavor was great just not as dense as I would like the bite.
The side kick enjoyed the brisket chili dog with fries. No response but nom nom nom.
We will be back!

Cool atmosphere. Staff are friendly & Courteous. BBQ was ok. The smoked brisket was a tad salty. Greasy food if you like that sort of thing. Taste was fine overall run of the mill BBQ

Great location…disappointed with brisket. Was extremely dry to nearly being inedible…. ribs were good and I enjoyed the rub on them. I loved the beans as well. Grits were ok, but mine looked as if it spent an hour under a heat lamp. I absolutely love the bbq sauce. In the end, I spent $55 for two meats and 2 side with 20%tip. It was not worth it.

One cloudy Saturday, when the place was almost empty, at 12:45 PM, we orderd a burger and potato to go. We sat at the bar, less than 5 feet from the staff that took our order. We waited for an excessive amount of time, about 30 minutes, then we approached the staff, and asked, “what happened to our order”. Only to be given the silent treatment, and handed a bag that had been sitting on the counter for a while.
They were rude, ignored us, and served cold food! Will nor waste my time or money at this place again!

Working in the area, a group of us decided to give Pyre a shot. Not having a extra change of clothes… getting bbq on a weekday can be a risky proposition. I had the burger and added the egg to it for a few bucks more. Also split the brisket eggrolls, since they came highly recommended. The burger was spot on and really did the trick with a some homemade potato chips on the side… but the brisket egg rolls were unstoppable! Next time I’m all in on the eggrolls, despite the really good burger I had just devoured moments before. I waddled all the way back to the car and barely stayed awake the rest of the day. What a fantastic lunch!

We came here for lunch because we had eaten at another location they had a couple of years ago… liked the brisket! We ordered 2 one meat and 2 sides plates with brisket and ice tea … we almost fainted when it came to just under $60!!! For lunch, you can’t be serious! In extremely tiny print under the price of the plate we ordered was upcharge for brisket and ribs… a sign of horrible economic times… but we paid and sat down. Our meals arrived and wow! A LOT of brisket! Half a pound to be exact… and it was superb! We are both Texans and love good bbq… this is excellent bbq! And the sides were very large portions also… and both very good! Bbq beans and Mac and cheese definitely are a good bet here! After being slightly miffed we left very happy with enough leftovers for another meal! Outstanding food!!
Highly recommended

Tried for the first time today. Not impressed. Got brisket plate, with the grits and Mac and cheese. Grits are unappealing to they eye, and tasted sour. Mac and cheese tasted a bit sour also. My brisket was pretty good, but I prefer to sauce my own meat, and there was no selection to choose from, just how it comes I guess. We won’t be back. Sorry.
