Social Profile:

The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

The Original Korean Fried Chicken at bb.q Chicken is a standout for its simplicity and execution. If you’re a fan of straightforward, perfectly cooked fried chicken without the frills, the Original Korean Chicken is a must-try. It’s simple, satisfying, and packed with quality in every bite.

I also love the vibes and the decorations.

The prices were reasonable for the quality of food, and the portions were generous. My only small critique is the limited parking in the area, but that’s expected in Chinatown.

Overall, a must-visit spot for anyone craving Korean fried chicken with bold flavors.

The cheesling wings I ordered did not have a lot of the seasoning on them 🙁 The meat itself was good and tender! However I was quite disappointed by the cheesling. The other branches I’ve ordered from always covered the chicken with seasoning, but this time it was not done well.

For Korean-style fried chicken, bb.q does a great job in providing not greasy, crispy yet lightly battered, tender fried chicken that’s delicious each time. Their original may be the best option as it provides a very flavorful and simple alternative to other restaurants that charge more per bite. I thought that their secret sweet sauce, though yummy, was too much in terms of drenching the chicken so that it wasn’t as crunchy.. however, this just means that I wouldn’t be ordering it again unless the sauce was a side. I’m very excited to try their other flavors, as the original was just SO good! This company is known also for ingenious packaging; it keeps the chicken warm, fresh, and crispy even during a long delivery or snowy day. I would 100% recommend and return to this restaurant, hence the 5-stars though excess sauce (I used it as a dipping sauce for the original). I find the price to be affordable as well, considering the quality and quantity compared to other Korean-style places.

Chicken was great, hot, crispy, and tasty. We ordered the crispy and Korean, and the Korean was sooo good. The basic crispy was good too, but had a little “after taste” that was a little weird. A bit pricey, but obviously people didn’t mind, as the place eas packed. Other than that, great chicken, good service, and we’ll be back for more.

The individuals that are leaving this restaurant 1-2 star reviews are either incompetent or just have the taste palate and experience of a 5 year old.

This place is fantastic and the wings are drool worthy. So crunchy and moist on the inside. The sauces and spices of every dish are beyond.

We’ve ordered from here a handful of times, and have yet to be disappointed.

Rose tteokbokki, honey garlic wings, and hot $ spicy wings =

The garlic chicken wings were delicious not to mention the delicious dessert, the shaved watermelon ice cream was my favorite definitely coming back very soon for more!!! The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to order on a kiosk, so make sure you have your credit/debit card ready

Ordered to go through Uber eats. .. the original recipe is the best. So crispy and the flavor is on point. The kimchi fried was the perfect spiciness!

This is the first time I have ever filed a complaint about food. Me and my partner visited the restaurant around 8:45 PM (closing time is 9:30 PM). I ordered chicken wings, white rice, and tteokbokki. The food was served very quickly after I placed my order, which initially made me happy because I thought I could enjoy my meal promptly and then leave.

However, I was very disappointed to find that some of the chicken wings, especially the drum pieces, were undercooked. One piece was still visibly red on the inside and released pink juices. Some pieces were partially raw, with the meat still tough and the tendons very noticeable.

I immediately informed the cashier politely, and the manager was called over. While the manager did agree to have a new order prepared, their response was unprofessional. Instead of apologizing, they insisted that the chicken was “fresh” and “not undercooked.” This was upsetting, as the evidence I showed clearly proved otherwise — the meat was red, juices were pink, and it had a strong odor. I did not took any picture because i tell them directly then give the whole still bucket of the chicken wings.

In the end, I requested the chicken wings to be canceled, cause the way of the Manajer responded and I was refunded $15. While I appreciate the refund, I left feeling very disappointed with both the food quality and the way the situation was handled. I strongly suggest that management be trained the Manager to respond to customer concerns in a more professional and respectful manner.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve both your food preparation and customer service.

I’m kinda of new here but I didn’t realize Fried Backbone was an Illinois delicacy. Or maybe the Half Chicken order meant “half meat, half fried bone.”

When there was actually chicken meat, it was pretty good. About a third of what came in the box was absolutely inedible. I know times are tight but I’d rather you just over charge me for a half empty box.

Ordered a Hot spicy chicken and did NOT get the same quality (see photo) as what is pictured on the website (see screenshot). Additionally, it was not very good.

Chinese people do not know how to do KOREAN fried chicken right.

For those looking to experience true Korean fried chicken, this place is definitely not the place to experience it.
