We stopped by Kim Ngan after a trip to Vietnam ourselves. They have quite a good offering of authentic Vietnamese dishes. We tried the Beef and Meatball Pho, Chicken Vermicelli, Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls. Everything was pretty good and a decent price. Stop by if you want a taste of Vietnam!

I was seriously disappointed. The pho was subpar and tasteless. Usually the broth has it’s own unique taste but this just tastes like plain water. There were chunks of beef in the soup and not slices like you usually see in normal pho tai. Which was hard pressed to say the least, as I almost choked on a piece. I usually like the French press iced coffee any Vietnamese restaurant has except for this one. The coffee is usually bitter, but this was just extremely gross. No amount of condensed milk could have fixed that. When we entered the restaurant there was a huge whiteboard that stated for us to wait to be seated. There was a guy in front of us who saw the board, walk past it and sat in the main dining area. No one stopped him. We decided to pick out our own favorite place to sit as well which was two tables down from his, but we were stopped in our tracks by one server who placed us in an empty, dirty atrium. We were the only ones in there for about 15 minutes until another person came and they moved after 2 minutes. After sitting there for almost 30 minutes we figured out why he moved. My husband dropped his chopsticks and proceeded to bend down to pick them up when he jumped back up and realize that his shoes was covered in ants. I get up and I see the whole entire floor of the atrium covered in ants. The only two good things about our visit was the waiter that served us was really nice and the egg rolls were really good. All in all the visit was dismal. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you want some really good hands down pho, I will pass this place up and go to Truc Lam 1/2 a mile down the road from them.

Had very high expectations for this place considering the neighborhood. The presentation was amazing though. Shrimp spring rolls had old lettuce in it. They wouldn’t sub chicken out for shrimp in the General T’so dish. Overall good food but wouldn’t go again.

This was my first experience with true Vietnamese food. If it’s all this good them it will be hard to stay away.

It was very fresh and tasty, and I could taste each ingredient and seasoning.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and it’s comfortable and relaxed. It’s nothing fancy, the building was some other restaurant in the past because there was a drive up window. But as long as you’re there for the food and not the atmosphere, you won’t go wrong here.

“Never judge a book by it’s cover!” Kim Ngan is PHO SHOW some of the best food in town!

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, look no further! I’ve tried several things on the menu & have never been disappointed. The staff are willing to offer suggestions and are very courteous.

I just come to this restaurant because of Bun Bo Hue. It has the closest flavor to the original dish (compare with other restaurant in the city). Other food is just ok. The food is add a lot of MSG that make me uncomfortable. The fish sauce in some dishes is so sweet for me. The spicy tray is dirty! The waiter didn’t refill the water until I asked for it!

Atmosphere is very casual. We loved our dishes. Great quality food at very reasonable prices. The average entree was $10 ish for huge portions. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly people, the pho is GREAT the best that I’ve tasted since I first tried it in California. Not a long wait to get your food, and you get a whole lot. I’ve brought my family there and my kids even love the food
