My husband found this place in TikTok and he realized it was only minutes down the road. He read some reviews but man were they wrong. This place was so amazing. You get what you pay for. My husband had the Red Snapper and I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken Fried Chicken. For the app we had a flat bread. Then the dessert was an Apple Crumble.
The Service was outstanding, our teas always stayed full, and the table stayed clean with fresh silverware as our meal progressed.
We highly recommend and oh I forgot to mention that on certain nights they have live music outside!!
Be sure to reserve your table because we will be going back!!!!

Service was fantastic, food was delicious, and the ambiance is amazing. My wife enjoys her steak medium well which is typically hit or miss but it was tender and flavorful. She loved it, the drinks were amazing and they had live music on the patio which was great with heaters to keep the cool air from freezing us out

We celebrated our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a more special evening. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, the food was beautifully prepared, and every detail made the night feel memorable. Ashley was our waitress, she was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. A lovely experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the Chef’s Table. WOW! So much fun. Fascinating to watch the beautiful plates get prepared for serving. Fun to learn what all goes on in the kitchen – lots of hard work & a labor of love. Amazing food! Everything was so unique & tasty. Chef Clint was so personable and down to earth. Service staff, including Garrett was so friendly & so genuine. Oh, and did I say the food was amazing!!

I was pleasantly surprised, the appetizer a daily chef special, shrimp/crab ceviche dip, looked small portion. However, it was perfect and sauce delicious and not fishy tasting. My main meal was chicken fried rib eye with mash potatoes and gravy. It was light, crunchy, had 2 quail eggs in top, perfect mix of textures with homemade shoestring potatoes on top. A friend ordered Lobster ravioli was full of lobster chunks and a perfect balance sauce. My friend ordered Moscow Mule and it came out in a glass not a copper cup. This was a disappointment of a drink in taste as well, but the did make her a different cocktail. I was also surprised that they served Diet Coke in a bottle. Overall, I give it 5 stars for atmosphere, service, and food. Suggest making a reservation.

We had such an amazing dinner at Rio Brazos Grill—this place is hands-down one of our new favorites in Weatherford. It’s way more than just a steakhouse. We had the T-bone and the Texas Strip, and both were absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best steaks we’ve had in a long time.

The onion rings came with this honey-based dipping sauce that blew us away—sweet, savory, totally addictive.

What really made the night special was getting to meet Chef Connaway himself. You can tell he truly cares about every dish that leaves the kitchen. The bartender was also great—super friendly and clearly knows how to craft a proper drink. Every cocktail was on point.

We finished the night with the crème brûlée topped with chocolate-covered coffee beans. It was rich, smooth, and the perfect end to the meal.

The whole place has such a warm, laid-back Texas vibe. Friendly folks, cozy atmosphere, and food that just hits the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

I never put good reviews on places that I like. As a matter of fact, I have a BIG reputation for putting only BAD reviews. But when it comes to this place, it was a whole different ball game! Here’s why: not only the fact that the outside of this restaurant looked nice, but also the fact that they lived up to their name! How so? The atmosphere on the inside of the restaurant was unique! But also the upmost important thing that made the checklist was the customer service! And last, but not least… Their food! Their food was ridiculously amazing! The way that they make it is worth the money! So if you’re feeling fancy, and if you wanna go to a place that’s not too far from Weatherford , or even Parker County, I highly recommend this place! Oh, and not to mention that the famous actor Billy Bob Thornton has also eaten here! Did you know that? And now I got to say that me and my girlfriend ( we both happen to be celebrities as well) Ate there and had an excellent experience overall. They just about earned five stars without even trying!

My wife and I visited for date night and left feeling that the service fell well short of expectations for a restaurant at this price point. We had reservations and were seated at a small table beside the kitchen entrance and restrooms resulting in a high traffic, constant flow of people walking by our table; while more comfortable tables remained open all evening, which detracted from the atmosphere.

Service was inattentive and poorly paced. Menus and specials were handed to us without any explanation, it took about 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another 10 minutes to receive them, and we had to flag our server down multiple times to place an order and later to have our plates cleared and request dessert. Dessert arrived missing the scoop of ice cream we requested, and the cake itself was dry.

The cocktails and entrées were excellent — beautifully presented and full of flavor — but as the evening wound down, closing cleanup created significant noise and constant traffic around our table, making the end of the meal feel rushed and uncomfortable.

With the price of the menus items, we expected a more polished, attentive experience to match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to service overshadowed what the kitchen does very well.

We were excited about having an elevated dining experience in this area, but expectations fell short. Unfortunately It’s hard to say if we’ll be back anytime soon.

Came in for Sunday Brunch. The place is gorgeous inside and you can smell the steaks cooking on the open fire from the kitchen. Captures the feeling of being around a campfire and cooking your food straight on the open fire. I ordered the brisket benny and was blown away at how great it was. Served over crispy potato croquettes instead of the usual English muffins was a nice change. The jalapeno gravy was delicious and gave the whole dish a nice spicy kick. They have the friendliest, most hospitable waitstaff of any restaurant I have visited recently. It was a wonderful experience and one I am sure I will repeat in the near future.

This is our first visit to this highly reviewed and recommended restaurant. We looked forward to an exceptional dining experience.

We were pleased with the attention and service provided by the wait staff.

As for the food:
– The Panko Shrimp w/ sauces were delicious.
– The Caesar Salad was very good
– The dining experience took a dive when the Chef recommended selections arrived to the table.
– The T-Bone lamb plate tasted of a chargrilled flavor. Couscous was not seasoned, the Brussel sprouts tasted chargrilled. Lamb was tough, very chewy, mostly bone and fat.
– Slow Roasted Veal dish was bland without flavor or seasoning. Every bite tasted exactly the same with tough veal. The dish reminded me of poor man’s chicken pot pie.

After having a poor main course, we declined having dessert and headed out.

Rio Brazos Grill was a BIG SWING AND A MISS on our anniversary dinner.
