Food was what you would expect from a school cafeteria. Frozen patties with little flavor and side dishes from a can. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere was that of old men sitting around drinking coffee and talking the weather and local happenings. Very quaint and comfortable if you want a quick meal with small town feel and friendly Service.

A great day for a slower pace drive on Hwy 51, we came across the 51 Diner in Wesson, MS. We stopped for a late afternoon lunch, and were the only customers at the time. It was late in the afternoon around 3:00 p.m.
This diner is “All American” from the atmosphere to the menu! There is a good selection of options for everybody’s tastebuds.
Of course, there was plenty I would have loved to try, but on a diet, I stayed safe with the grilled chicken salad, and my husband ordered the hamburger and fries. The salad was fresh, great seasoned grilled chicken, and enough to fill be up. It was very tempting to add a dessert!
The waitress was very attentive to check on us and turned the air down as I was chilled.
Overall, the restaurant and bathroom area were clean with much attention to family service and atmosphere!
I definitely recommend taking a road trip and try this little diner out. If not to eat, but to check out all the vintage decor throughout the restaurant!

Went for the first time this past Friday for breakfast and got a buscuit to take to deer stand for later, and noticed Friday night is steak night. We came back that night for steaknight and the food and service was just as good as the breakfast. Great food and great service.. will definitely be back

This Ribeye was ordered WELL done. Tried eating around raw area. Ended up sending it back to get cooked more. The pic is how it came back. When told l felt like I shouldn’t have to pay for it, the waitress says, you gonna do some dishes? Then she went back and another lady comes out and instead of apologizing, she says: you ate the majority of it and so your paying half price. Very RUDE!

The food was swimming in grease not butter, western grease 2 egg omelet were watered down with a small amount of tomatoes, plenty raw onions, grits were thick as day old oatmeal, hash browns were like mickydees, bacon is steamed not fried, orange juice is not orange juice its mixed citrus, 5oz Cinnamon roll was good, customer service was good, no tea available.

The cutest little diner! Food is Amazing! The service and friendly atmosphere is always top tier and hard to beat! I haven’t had one thing off the menu that I didn’t like. The hamburger steak plate is my favorite, and the fried jalapeño’s are to die for!

You have to order the onion rings. Trust me on this. The food is great–all Americans fare cooked to perfection. The restaurant is casual and quaint with a 50s vibe. Staff is kind. We have visited several times and will go back really soon–onion rings!

I live in Wesson and there breakfast is good but for lunch from the menu and Dinner you should keep driving to the next restaurant mainly because there cook just is not a good cook.
Service with the restaurant was good unless the waitress asked the cook anything, then things get crazy. When you are dealing the public, insisting the customer is always wrong is not good business practice

Had the Hamburger Steak and Cajun Fries and Addie’s Chicken. Caramel Malt. Great selection on Menu. Food was great, servers were knowledgeable and very friendly. Stopped here while traveling south. Great small town diner!
