I had the prime rib last Saturday night. It was amazing! Cooked perfectly and seasoning was great! Came with a baked potato as big as my head, piece of Texas toast and the salad bar! Excellent meal!!

Perfect destination eatery for someone riding in the Loess (pronounced “Luss”) Hills area near here. It’s smack dab in the middle of about nowhere.

Place is nice inside and decorated up with some unique decor. Service was good, and food was also good.

We had their jalapeño popper burger with fries, and a chicken strip basket. Flavor and quality was good. They were freshly made, and came out hot, and tasted good. Price was a little much for what you get. The burger was only like $12.50 or so, but to add fries, it’s another $4.50, so you spend $17 for a burger and fries. You can spend less at Red Robin and get a Gormet burger and bottomless fries. So seemed slightly steep. The chicken strip basket was fairly priced fairly well at $12.50, because it came with your choice of potato. However, it was disappointing to see just how small the basket was. So again, pricing “over all” seemed a bit high for what you are getting.

Bathrooms were nice and also clean. Only thing I’d say is the stalls have curtains, and ones that don’t completely close. There are gaps on the sides. So not only is that a bit weird, but someone could just open the curtain without thinking, instead of finding a locked stall door. The curtain idea seemed hokey to me.

All in all, a pretty good experience. Yes, there are my set of complaints/suggestions above, but that’s only because I try to be complete and honest from both sides, while giving a proper review, and not just a start rating and a review of “good food”. So with me, you’ll often see stuff from both sides of things.

My first time here for breakfast. It was great food and a great value. I’ve included a picture of my breakfast and the menu. I’ve been here many times and love this place. The one thing to keep in mind here is be realistic about service. They provide great service but often get hit with unexpected rushes due to large groups riding the back roads. When this happens, they get super busy and wait times for food get longer. The upside to this is that you get to socialize a bit more.

Tried this place for first time. Had the prime rib. It was good. Petite was super thin but good. Big baked potatoes.
What turned us off was the service. Had to ask for salad bowls, then had to ask for water refill. When we asked for more water they only took one glass when both of ours were empty so had to ask again for 2nd glass to be refilled. Then had to ask for check. Never once was asked how our food was, never once was checked on.
And the place wasnt that busy.

Drove over an hour just to eat there. Only my second time but both times i have been completely blown away by how good the food is. Screw the high priced fancy restaurants. You want delicious food and great service go here. My only complaint would be the loud mouth locals that obviously cant handle their liquor. 6pm on a Thursday sounds like 1am on a Saturday at a night club. That being said i will definitely be back but i know now to just bring ear plugs.

Came here for the first time. The food was amazing. We both had the breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. We got a huge breakfast that was so good that I had to finish my plate. We’ll definitely be back.

You have to want to get to the Divide Hill Roadhouse since it’s located in the middle of nowhere, but it’s well worth the trip. Local hangout with good food and cold beer.

Super busy place tonight but the food was hot, drinks were cold and a great atmosphere. We placed our order of half mushrooms and pepper jack cheese balls. We would get the mushrooms again, however we prefer cheese curds. I ordered the chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce and sweet potato fries. Hubby tried a newer wing sauce of the spicy Asian sauce, which was very good. It was not overly sweet and had a good amount of heat. We also had played some games of cards since all tables have decks at them. It was fun to also see other people playing with them as well! Sarah was running the bar and was keeping the place hydrated. If you are in the area, Divide Hill is always a great stop!

Best food around and reasonably priced. Great burgers and prime rib. It’s kind of a tough place to find, but it’s well worth it when you do…..
