A nice and cozy atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. The food is primarily typically ordinary fried “bar food”, but still offers several more complex options that many similar establishments do not. Every time I visit Shaffer’s, I have a good time.

This is a good bar to stop by and have a quick bite and a few cheap drinks. The food is usually pretty great and their prices are fairly cheap compared to the competition. The downfall is that it’s a smoking bar and the space isn’t big enough to leave not smelling like cigarettes or cigars and it’s a local bar so you get the corner bar vibe. Caters more so to a 30 and up crowd. All in all not a bad place to be.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon with my friends and the place wasn’t very busy there were just a few people in there. The bartender was very attentive and was happily refilling our drinks right away. Stayed for a few hours and grab the six pack to go. The place was absolutely spotless. Would go back here again for sure.

Way Too much Drama and gossip going on in this bar. Lots of Creepy married men trying to cheat on their wife’s. Especially, stay away from Mike Nolan, he likes to hit and bully women in the bar. This is not a safe place for single women to drink.

Like Suzie’s a lot, good local folks, fun to shoot pool with. Smoking bar which allows me to have a cigar. French Fries are great. One downer is the ceiling, it needs a bit of work ;-). Good friends, good juke box and life is good.

Stopped by for the pool league. Bar is clean. People are nice. Staff is awesome! Food wasn’t what I expected. Would definitely go again.
