We ordered soup and entrees before we even took a second helping of our soup the main course was already being brought. The egg drop soup was delicious but extremely hot, my wife joked and said it was lava hot.
The Tan Tan Noodle In Szechuan Style (which had a peanut sauce and a lot of minced peanuts) was very tasty.
The Scallops & Shrimp Dumplings and the chicken Lettuce Wraps were great also
Overall it was a great experience, total bill was about $80 with 18% tip (out choice of tip) for 2 people.
We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.
Food: The food was delicious. The pork dumplings in chili oil was exquisite with their flavor. Wife tried the bao bun sampler and preferred the spicy, kimchi and garlic buns from the dish.
Service: The waitress was amazing and very kind. On the spot with drinks and getting us our food.
Atmosphere: Very clean environment and the temperature was super comfortable. There’s also plenty of space between tables as well as the music not being obnoxiously loud.
We ordered apps like the cold tofu and cucumbers. Their chili oil is flavorful and not spicy at all. Loved the chicken app, kaarage style.
Although the sample of soup dumplings was adventurous, I was looking forward to this the most but sadly was disappointed. We were awaiting that gush of juicy soup as you bite into the dumplings but these came kind of dried out with little soup. The only flavor that was really prominent was the crab. The cheese one was my least favorite.
Their dumplings however definitely hit the spot. Moist and flavorful. We also ordered the beef, pork loins, and green beans entrees. The beef was our favorite. Cooked perfectly, not too oily.
Overall a good experience. Happy we have one on this side of town and I’ll definitely be returning!
Ignore that 1 star review feom Lux Aria down below, who the hell orders dumplings to go? Might as well just grab frozen ones from Kings if you are going to eat at home. This kind of places shines for their fresh, dine-in experience for optimum flavor and freshness.
If you are looking for this food specifically don’t go here, the rest of the food looks great in comparison but after trying one of those I’m not even hungry anymore.
Most disappointing was the dumplings.
1. I can’t choose what kind of taste I want so it has to be one each.
2. they are NOT HOT AT ALL. Not even warm. That dumpling didn’t look yummy at all. I was so disappointed. Especially I saw so many good reviews. But I won’t be back. We have much better dim sum close to this restaurant.
