I am giving a review in the Burbank location by Magnolia. Urbane Café is one of my favorite spots! The Santa Maria sandwich is amazing—so flavorful and perfectly made. The salads are always fresh, and the bread tastes freshly baked every time. Great food, great quality, and friendly service! I am going to to try the BBQ tri tip for the first time. So I will post a new review soon!

I ordered a salmon bowl from this restaurant, and when it arrived, I was absolutely horrified to find live flies crawling around inside the food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene and food safety standards.
I immediately lost my appetite and couldn’t eat anything. I reached out to the restaurant, but the response was disappointing — there was no real accountability or sense of urgency.
I strongly urge others to think twice before ordering from here until they address their cleanliness issues. This was one of the most unpleasant food experiences I’ve ever had.

Nice, fresh made food while you wait. The best part is they make their own bread fresh all day, every day. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a salad and sandwich on the patio in lovely southern California weather.

The seasonal harissa chicken sandwich here is dangerously good. The foccacia bread on the sandwhich had that just-baked aroma, and when I bit in, I got layers: smoky chicken, bright pickled onion, and a tziki spread that tied it all together. The sandwich was big enough to be filling but still light enough that I didn’t feel sluggish afterward. It’s overall a great lunch spot. Right when you walk in there’s this light, herbal smell in the air that immediately makes you hungry and there’s always fresh cookies ready up front. The medium sized dining room still feels open and inviting with floor to ceiling windows. Around me, people were chatting, laughing, and the staff are fun, talkative, with a sharp attention to detail too. Andrew, my cashier and foodrunner, brought my plate over with a warm “buen provecho” calling back to my comment about needing to practice more spanish when I was ordering. A manager passed by once more near the end of my meal to offer to-go boxes, which might seem small, but it’s those moments that make me a repeat customer.

I come back here for Andrew. He is the best face of urbane in Burbank. Truly any meal that starts with his smile can go no wrong. I have a gluten allergy and he always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of.

SUPER impressed! I don’t say that often. Reasonable prices with superb flavors which is rare to find nowadays. Ample space in the parking lot, and the option to sit outdoors. Mobile order with app is awesome and there is a dedicated area for pick ups.
Roomy space where you feel comfortable and the restroom area is private all the way in the back. Super clean (here at 8:15pm)
Drink options are good and not your typical coke and such.

Super friendly staff and a great meal. They were handing out free cookies which were just amazing and a nice touch to our dine in experience. They were so good we bought some to take home as well. The side salad with fresh fruit was a nice surprise to the sandwiches we got. Some firemen were in line ahead of us and got their meal for free which was so nice of the business. Very community and family oriented establishment in a prime Burbank location. Will be a regular spot for me!

I have accidentally stumbled upon this awesome place. Let first say this, the staff is fantastic, very welcoming, friendly, outgoing, fun, and very knowledgeable about their menu. The place is clean, neat, and the ambiance is fantastic. The food is amazing. I had their new Sweet Chili Crunch Chicken Sandwich. It was delicious beyond words. I definitely recommend this place. Overall 10/10. Definitely coming back here.
