Reviews
Was looking for a quick Asian meal and came in expecting a small, takeout-focused Thai spot. Instead, the space was fairly large, with a bar and a small café area, though it was mostly empty when I visited.
I ordered the soft-shell crab tempura and the Duck in Ashland. The crab itself was a good size, but it felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before being battered. There was a somewhat strong briny, fishy ocean aroma. I personally didn’t mind it, but if you’re sensitive to fishy flavors, it could be off-putting.
The duck was also a bit underwhelming. It tasted slightly dry, as if it hadn’t been fully or properly thawed, and there was a faint gaminess. The crispy greens on the side were nice, but beyond that, it was just an okay dish.
Overall, nothing terrible, but nothing that really stood out either.
Everytime my water would be close to empty it was immediately filled, so absolute A+ on service! Now let’s get to the food, I ordered the crispy chicken pad tai. It was extremely tasty, and had very unique flavors that I really enjoyed. The crab Rangoon were fresh, and nice and warm! They do also have a breakfast menu with all your typical eggs, bacon, pancake (etc) with a nice twist. If you fancy boba tea or a smoothie you can also get one to your liking with a huge selection to choose from. The menu was easy to read on all 3 menus our table received! I absolutely enjoyed my first experience, and can not wait to go back! I really enjoyed the service, the food, and the atmosphere.
Thanks again!
This is one of our regular stops for great Thai food. We especially love the Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, and Garlicky Ribs. The Pomegranate Martini is excellent!
Prices are reasonable and service is typically quick-although we like to relax and take it slow-which is never a problem.
We have tried many of the menu items and each has always been good.
The owners are very friendly and always welcome us with a smile.
Highly recommend giving this place a try if you have not been there yet.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the owners themselves were handling both the cooking and the service. Normally, that can be a charming, personal touch—but only when it’s done with professionalism and respect for the guest experience.
Food & Quality
The dishes I received arrived noticeably cold, lacking proper temperature control and awareness of basic food-handling principles. Having worked in restaurants myself, I immediately recognized the absence of consistency and care in preparation. The ingredients felt sub-par, and the plates presented to me did not meet even the most basic expectations of quality.
When I politely expressed my concerns, instead of being met with understanding or a willingness to correct the situation, I found myself in an uncomfortable exchange. The owner argued about the food quality rather than listening—an approach completely opposite to what genuine hospitality stands for.
Despite the commotion and my discomfort, I remained respectful, paid my bill the food I consume and decided it was best to leave. What happened next genuinely shocked me.
As I walked to my car in the parking lot, the owner( waiter) approached me—asking for a 20% tip for her service. After the experience I had just endured, this was beyond surprising. It felt intrusive and inappropriate, especially considering the lack of hospitality inside.
Overall Impression
This experience left me unsettled—not just because of the food, but because of the behavior and attitudes that accompanied it. Hospitality is about warmth, care, and ensuring a guest feels welcome and safe. Sadly, I did not feel any of that here.
While I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my visit, I encourage others to judge for themselves. For me, the combination of poor food quality, lack of professionalism, and the uncomfortable encounter afterward made this establishment fall far short of what a restaurant should represent.
It’s disappointing to see such potential overshadowed by attitude and disregard for customer experience
Everything was fresh and exceptionally made, down to my unusual requests. This was actually one of the best meals of my life. I ordered Pad See You with crispy chicken & special request to add an egg wrap on top (Chef’s kiss perfection!!! a server even said I inspired her to try it the same way after her shift tonight). I also got a brown sugar bubble tea with boba and, because I am a menace to society, a shot of Tito’s from the bar to make it a boozy boba
All of the servers/staff were so friendly, patient, and helpful, and they even served me fried ice cream on the house because I was celebrating my belated birthday with family. Thank you so much!!
Will definitely be back soon…
Update: The restaurant just added more drink options and the milk tea with boba is seriously good. I’m so happy that we finally have good milk tea and boba in Ashland!!!
