First time trying this place food is overly priced , small portion as well . Food is also very bland no flavor . Ordered the corn ribs with lime mayo and cheese however none of that was on it for 9.99 . Sweet tea is 3.99 which is outrageous. I also had to come back and the girl forgot to give me my tea when I first left . Will not be back !

Went with a group and was happy with our lunch. The service was great, the atmosphere was beautifully done and the food was good. Some items are a bit more expensive than I was expecting but they have items at every price point and lunch specials.

El Jimador offers all the standard favorites you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant, with a traditional atmosphere and very friendly service. The food was tasty and fresh, and it’s conveniently located for us, which is a big plus.
My wife and I went for lunch on a Saturday and learned that the lunch menu isn’t available on Saturdays, so we ordered from the regular menu. We each had a combination plate, plus a tamale and flan for dessert. The large cheese dip was delicious but pricey at $10, and overall the à la carte menu seems more expensive than other local options. Drinks were $3.99 for soda (water was free).
In total, our lunch came to about $60, which is more than we usually spend for similar meals elsewhere. While the food and service were both very good, the higher prices are the main reason I’m giving four stars instead of five.

Well, hear me out!!! Food is fantastic as a dominican I have to say this food was epic only thing is the place has a good working A/C and is a little bit too cold, I ordered fajitas texanas , beef , chicken and shrimp and it only had 2 shrimp but nothing else to say, I’m a truck driver so I be trying different places all around I give this place a 5 star

Absolutely Worth a Second Visit — They’ve Hit Their Stride!
We came in and ordered the ACP Texano and the chilaquiles, and let me tell you—both dishes were phenomenal. The flavors were spot on, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentically made. As a Mexican family, we’re picky about our food, and this place absolutely delivered.
The atmosphere was amazing, warm, and welcoming.
The service was incredible, and our server Andrés was spectacular—attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better.
And to anyone who might’ve visited during their launch period: give this place a second chance. Starting a restaurant is rough, but now that they’ve got their legs under them, everything here is spectacular. The food, the service, the vibe—completely different level.

Visited on their grand opening day and was thoroughly impressed! Despite how packed it was, we were seated quickly (party of two) and our orders were taken without delay. Both the food and drinks arrived in great time, and everything was absolutely delicious. The customer service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and efficient. The cucumber margarita was a standout: fresh, & crisp. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

These folks do not deserve a 4.1. We had a great experience. We ordered their new Chorizo and Pollo nachos. They came out hot and fresh. It was sprinkled with pineapple, which gave it a sweet twist. It was really good. And for less than $20, my wife and I are truly stuffed.
